Love Princeville just don't stay at the cliffs.

Love Princeville just don't stay at the cliffs. I requested ahead of time 2nd floor so that were could have a view and it was our honeymoon. But they just said they could not accommodate. Not sure if it's because we booked thru booking.com. There just did not seem to be much Aloha. We are from Oahu and it was just not what we are use to as far as friendlyness. They don't answer their phone and they don't answer messages for days. Just would not stay here again.

Central location for exploring the north shore.

Central location for exploring the north shore. Plenty of beautiful beaches, shopping in Hanalei & nature walks. Check out Foodland for poké & hot food takeaway at ridiculously reasonable prices.

Princeville is a quiet residential neighborhood.

Princeville is a quiet residential neighborhood. Hanalei is a village about 15 minutes, with some nice restaurant and boutiques. Bigger town, Kappa is 35 minutes. However, Princeville has a grocery store with all your needs. I really enjoyed Princeville and will stay again there. Kauai is a low-key beautiful island with Waimea Canyon n much more to offer.

Princeville is nice, however it is not the easiest place to explore the island from. if you want to relax, it would be a great destination, if you want to explore the island, i would suggest staying in Poipu Beach

Pros- scenery, sunset views, lots of greenery and plants.

Pros- scenery, sunset views, lots of greenery and plants. Golf course, walking and running path. Short drive to Hanalei and other beautiful beaches. Cons- long drive to airport and south side of the island. No nice beaches to walk to. A lot more rain on that side of the island.

Princeville is a quiet town and takes a while to get to from many of the island attractions like the canyon, airport, and boat tours. So plan accordingly if you have plans on that side of the island.

It’s quiet and peaceful, yet very close to stunning beaches, scenic lookouts, and the charming town of Hanalei. Waking up to the tropical sounds and magical sunrises, and ending the day with Kauai’s breathtaking sunsets, made our stay unforgettable. The combination of comfort, natural beauty, and convenience makes it the perfect spot to experience the best of the North Shore.

Took us 5 hours to check in, multiple phone calls to Vacasa, form ourselves and the hotel. They did not send the booking to he hotel. No one from Vacasa has called to apologies for the half day of our holiday lost. Do not book this place. They add loads of charges after you have paid. I was quoted just over £600 for 3 nights on booking.com. Ended up paying £850.00 plus resort fees, parking and additonal taxes, which was an extra £200. so cost me £400 more than original quote!!!

Lady at reception on my arrival was the nicest staff member I met since arriving in Hawaii, almost 2 weeks ago and having stayed in 3 different places already. Welcoming, informative and humorous! Bed extremely comfortable. Room 10/10 for cleanliness. AC and fan perfect. Parking right outside and free. Fridge, coffee maker and microwave in room very handy. The grounds of the hotel are pretty and well maintained.

This place is a slice of paradise! Our room was massive, like a full apartment, with beautiful outside grass area. The staff were so incredibly friendly! It shares a path with One Hotel to the beach, which is a beautiful walk, although the buhgy pick-up from the beach was great too!!!

The bathroom was spacious, everything was clean. The pool is a nice area to relax at, we always got a pool chair. The staff were friendly and helpful. Big parking lot. The little balcony was nice.
