Portales reminds me of my home town; just a small somewhat...
Portales reminds me of my home town; just a small somewhat rural town based around industry and a college. Lots of local businesses with the right mix of chains and big box businesses like Wal-Mart and McDonalds. Very nice town, quiet and peaceful.

WE checked in to what was supposed to be a 3 nights stay in...
WE checked in to what was supposed to be a 3 nights stay in the same room all nights and it turned into 4 nights stay because of car trouble on sat,night which could not be looked at before Monday due to weekend and 3 rooms in 3 day of bad rooms,

We stay here every time we visit our daughter who attends college at ENMU 2 minutes away. In our opinion this is the BEST Hotel in town. Always so clean! Rooms are very comfortable! Always a clean comfortable fresh bed. The Full Breakfast is great. staff is always helpful and professional. Not one complaint.

The situation was so bad with confusion with reservations and front desk not sure how to process the reservation that we had confirmation for. We decided nt to stay at this hotel due to incompetency of staff. It was not safe.

I NEVER GOT TO STAY AT THE HOTEL BECAUSE THE MANAGER STATED BECAUSE I USED A 3RD PARTY AND PAID THROUGH BOOKING.COM SO HE COULD NOT PROVIDE THE ROOM TO ME. I WILL NEVER USE BOOKING.COM AGAIN. WORSE EXPERIENCE
