Portales reminds me of my home town; just a small somewhat rural town based around industry and a college. Lots of local businesses with the right mix of chains and big box businesses like Wal-Mart and McDonalds. Very nice town, quiet and peaceful.Guest review byDaniel - 8.0

WE checked in to what was supposed to be a 3 nights stay in the same room all nights and it turned into 4 nights stay because of car trouble on sat,night which could not be looked at before Monday due to weekend and 3 rooms in 3 day of bad rooms,Guest review byAnonymous

They put us on the second floor. With no elevator I had to get baggage up and down stairs . The first room had a water leak on the toilet, the second room had a mattress from 1960, the springs could separate ribs. After requesting a ground floor room for the third time they finally moved us down stairs the last 2 days of our stay. I will never book in this hotel again.Guest review byRonaldUnited States
