Had a great trip and spent a day at Blennerhassett Island.
Had a great trip and spent a day at Blennerhassett Island. The weather was beautiful and was a great treat to see all the trees in their full fall colors. We ate at the Cracker Barrel before the sternwheeler ride up the great Ohio River. The grounds at the state park were amaculately trimmed and the horse and wagon ride was a pleasure to venture on.

I could have stayed longer, but not "much" longer, after I learned about features and sites of Parkersburg other than those I came there to visit. One more day would have been sufficient to visit those other sites.

We've eaten at the North End Tavern, which is a great local establishment (not fancy/pretentious) that offers home-brewed rootbeer on tap and incredible french fries! The sandwich portions are large, as is the "small" french fry side order.

Grew up across river easy access to Ohio. Did have to get used to one way streets ate at bob Evans restaurant (recommended by locals) very good
Also at redwood restaurant in Belpre OH class reunion) also good. Service in restaurants excellent

The location did not show on my GPS and I had to stop and...
The location did not show on my GPS and I had to stop and ask two people before I found someone who knew where the motel was and the parking was small. The man (John) at the desk was very helpful and said the location was hard to find. The stay was very nice and I would stay there again.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels but this one was amazing! Clean, bright I found no dirt anywhere!! My bathroom sparkled. The room smelled clean and fressh. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The pool was great! I seriously have not one complaint. This will be my "go to" home when I travel to the area! Oh Breakfast was a bonus!!!! Great location I was able to get to Ohio, Marietta and Parkersburg easily. Plenty of restaurants and businesses in the area.

The tvs are huge! The beds are made for a king and queen! Sooo comfortable! The entire facility is impeccably clean! The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly! Especially to our pet! And no charge for her since she's a service animal and no trouble w explaining it either. Also upgraded to a suite for a minimal upcharge. Will recommend this hotel to anyone.

The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. I was driving on I77 and decided to take a night in a hotel. The price was very good for what I got.
