I’ve never been in this place but customer service was really amazing : I’ve sent Matt a message to let him know I won’t be able to make it ; on his own, he proposed me a refund (while he wasn’t forced of !) ; this kind of attention make me think we gonna be back for sure to meet them and enjoy their experiment !

I liked everything about this little motel. It was a small room with homemade furniture, completely renovated. the fridge was small but met the need. The bed and down/feather comforter were exceptionally comfortable. Quality towels and real dishes were a nice touch as well.

After we left bear lodge we realised we had left behind our sons cuddly toy which he’s had since he was born. With low expectations we called to see if it had been found, they had found it and shipped it back to us which I am very grateful for. Thank you! We will be staying again when in the area.

    Small, lovely and very quiet village.

    Small, lovely and very quiet village. Not much going on and right on the Hudson River. You can get some food basics here and a few lodges but that's about it. Still, Closest place to NYC where you can really take advantage of the Adirondacks as a getaway and still do a long weekend comfortably. About 45 minutes beyond Lake George.
