We didn't spend much time in Newberry, but it's close to...
We didn't spend much time in Newberry, but it's close to Tahquamenon Falls, which are spectacular ... especially the Lower Falls. Also, Crisp Point Lighthouse is amazing, in spite of the 18-mile rough road.

Didn't stay long enough to discover Newberry but we loved...
Didn't stay long enough to discover Newberry but we loved Timber Charlies, recommended for supper by front desk staff. It's an exceptionally professionally operated restaurant, from initial welcome and table assignment to service throughout the meal. The place was humming, tables were being over three times in the course of the evening, the staff all worked well together like a well-oiled machine. Food was great, too !

Very friendly, comfortable, good breakfast, cookies and pop corn was a nice touch! 👌
The traffic sound at night was a bit loud but the hotel noise was minimal on 2nd floor. The bathroom was extremely small. But over all we would stay again. Thanks!

Clean, newly renovated comfortable room.
Conveniently located near falls and points of interest. Loved self check in, simple. They keep you updated via text and email every step of the way.
