We didn't spend much time in Newberry, but it's close to...
We didn't spend much time in Newberry, but it's close to Tahquamenon Falls, which are spectacular ... especially the Lower Falls. Also, Crisp Point Lighthouse is amazing, in spite of the 18-mile rough road.

Didn't stay long enough to discover Newberry but we loved...
Didn't stay long enough to discover Newberry but we loved Timber Charlies, recommended for supper by front desk staff. It's an exceptionally professionally operated restaurant, from initial welcome and table assignment to service throughout the meal. The place was humming, tables were being over three times in the course of the evening, the staff all worked well together like a well-oiled machine. Food was great, too !

The breakfast was good with a lot of choices. The location was great for getting to Newberry, Painted Rocks, Tehquanium Falls and the Soo Locks.
The most important thing about this stay was the staff was so nice and friendly.

We go there all the time. It’s the best place to stay in Newberry and their dog friendly.! They have an awesome breakfast beds are super comfortable and it’s clean!

The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable and it was clean. The motel is pet friendly and check-in was easy.
