Midwest Central Railroad hosts an annual North Pole Express - it is a multigenerational family event. A dine-in Pizza Hut was an added bonus. No matter where you go in Mt. Pleasant, people are kind and welcoming.

Does not seem to be much here, but I didn't get out to explore hardly. It was just a forced stop during my trip due to bad weather. But I highly recommend the Super 8. Best customer service I've ever had in any hotel. Very accommodating and they go above and beyond to make sure you are a happy and returning guest.

The city/town itself seems to be nice.
The city/town itself seems to be nice. Just big enough to get what you need and enjoy your time there. Nice selection of clean restaurants to fill your belly. 'The Midwest Old Thrashers Reunion' is a well, put together event to schedule into your yearly plans closer to fall.

I liked everything about it. The front desk clerk was super friendly and informative about the area. He turned us on to a great Italian restaurant close by. The breakfast was excellent. We look forward to returning to Mount pleasant in the future and staying here.

A cheap clean room for the night stay. In general the hotel is old, but clean. Basic comfort. Comfy beds. Basic breakfast. Friendly staff. Pet friendly hotel. 🐶
Can recommend it as a stop over on a road trip.

The location of the hotel was perfect. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was exactly as expected, featuring breads, cereals, waffles, and fruit.
