The downtown area has had a revival, with numerous cute...
The downtown area has had a revival, with numerous cute shops and places to eat. We specifically visited the nicest Children bookstore and also had a delicious breakfast at a Le Gabrielle Crepes Restaurant. Loved visiting Monroe.

Monroe, GA is a nice little town between Atlanta and Athens.
Monroe, GA is a nice little town between Atlanta and Athens. It comes with a tidy downtown area, well kept, some shops worthwhile to take a look at.
We recommend to take time for a coffee break at ‘The Market at the Roe’ on N Broad St.
