Beautiful hotel in the heart of Coconut Grove. We loved the small terrace for breakfast and lunch. The room was big and nice, with a huge balcony. From the pool you have a beautiful view over the coconut grove bayside. The area around it is beautiful, small shops, good restaurants, very green and you can just stroll hours around and simply enjoy the beautiful neighbourhood. The staff was exceptional - very kind and helpful. A true 5 star hotel!!

Great for a family with kids: we had a large apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. The kids loved the pool area (pool is heated!). Added bonus: free bbq facilities on site. They even rent out beach chairs and umbrellas! They really thought about everything one might need. Cleanliness: great. Staff: super friendly and helpful. Would love to come back!

From start to finish - David messaged me literally straight away with any questions I had. David kept in touch with me throughout the stay checking if we needed anything. The room is amazing! With a Washer / Dryer , Fridge, Kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee machine. The room is very spacious and clean. The beds and Sofa bed were very comfortable. Its right in the heart of Brickell with lots of shops and restaurants in the surrounding area. Rooftop pool with a bar too! Really pleased we stayed here.

    My room was great on the corner with the view. However I stayed 3 nights there not once the housekeeper checking the room or refill my coffee or clean up my room. it should be a standard services to clean up daily. When I get back in the evening is too late to ask to clean up the room.

    Great stay at The Alea!

    Great stay at The Alea! The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect—walking distance to Bayside, Bayfront Park, and great restaurants, plus just a quick drive to South Beach and the cruise port. Would definitely stay again!

    Came for a cruise was there over night prior to the cruise. Just make sure you are aware what time the counter of your departing flight open see set in the Ft. Lauderdale airport for 5.5 hours before the counter opened so we can check in .

    I am not a big city person.

    I am not a big city person. Too much traffic and to many people for me but each to his own if you like this sort of thing, you will love Miami. Also, would help you if you could speak other languages I could not so it was hard to communicate during some of our interactions.

    I only go to Miami just to get a flight.

    I only go to Miami just to get a flight. Miami is not nice at all for me. Super expensive and not worth it. As you go out of Miami towards Aventura I like it more, and if going to Fort Lauderdale much better. Also I prefer to go to Naples, this place is paradise, but Miami is not nice at all for me (its almost a caos, full of people and very expensive). the other locations I mention have a better standard at a lower price.

    My family had a layover in Miami, we explored the Wynwood walls and the area around it, then headed to Little Havana and had a lovely stroll on Calle Ocho. Given the limted time, we saw quiet a lot and the overall experience was great!

    It was super cute, really clean and well appointed with nice fixtures and linen. The garden beds were comfy. I even shared the pull out with my 13 year old and it was fine. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet and only 10-15 mins from Calle Ocho and Domino Park area. It’s about 20 mins from Wynwood. And quick to get into South Beach and Miami city by car although. You need a car. Mike and Jess were really helpful and kind recommending Joes Stone Crab for my special 50th Night out.

    Excellent location, extremely accessible to airport, downtown miami and miami beach with public transport within walking distance. The bed was probably the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The views from the balcony are beautiful and having a full kitchen to hand was extremely convenient. The host was readily available for any queries too. 10/10 will rebook on next trip to Miami.

    The location end view is very good for those who want to stay close to the center , end Bayside. However, it is far from South Beach. The hotel Elser is very good Gym, the pool is average and very crowded at times. This unit is at building Elser.
