This place was exceptional. Completely serene and a perfecting ending to our very long roadtrip. We only spent the night here because we were just passing through and wanted to wake up and have breakfast with our grandparents who live close by, but this will be the only place we stay from now on when we come visit. It was perfect and my kids loved the bedrooms.

After reading a few of the reviews we were a little concerned about what we would find, however it was brilliant everything from the staff to cleanliness we could not fault it. great location near the lake it a shame we only stayed there for one night we would have been happy for a week

    A great choice if you wish to be in the area, near the boating on the reservoir etc. We staged for the eclipse, the property met our expectations, the staff was efficient and friendly - despite the hotel being at capacity and having a lot of work! Very reasonable, suited our needs, would gladly stay again

    I booked a room for 3 nights. January 25th to January 28th.

    I booked a room for 3 nights. January 25th to January 28th. And paid about $300 and didn't even get to stay a whole 24 hours in my room. Because the front desk called the police department stating that I smelled like marijuana. Let me remind you that I never bothered anyone or didn't disrespect the hotel. Ever. And moral of the story is , "manager" knocked on my door early around 7:30 8:00 am the next morning and when we opened the door 6 Mabank pd officers swarmed our room tearing everything of our upside down and inside out. Accusing us of having drugs on us at the property. (Nothing was ever found and we was never charged with anything) but me and my wife did in fact get detained for old 2016 tickets. So we never got to stay out other 2 nights. And was refused a refund and was told to contact (Redlion.com) and once contacted, they told me there was nothing they could do for us because they weren't associated with that property and to contact the hotel manager. Now everytime we attempt to reach out and get our other $200 refunded back to us , for our inconvenience and the other 2 nights we were unable to stay for what we paid for. We either get no answer, hung up in our face everytime we call and express the issue or told to leave the property or else the laws will be called on us . That's when we go up there from not being able to reach anyone on the phone to resolve our issue. After several attempts. Horrible service. Not friendly service and just all around a bad vibe. Definitely will not reffer to anyone. Ever.
