We stopped in Lusk because it was the logical stopping point...
We stopped in Lusk because it was the logical stopping point on a road trip. It was a Sunday, so dining options were very limited. Two restaurant/bars and a Subway. We went to the Silver Dollar- menu choices were limited but the food was good. Our server was excellent. Lusk is a clean town but unfortunately, the lockdowns hit...
Lusk is a clean town but unfortunately, the lockdowns hit hard and there were only three places to eat - pizza, Subway, and a bar and grill that allowed smoking. We had calzones at the pizza place and the food was great. We had ice cream at an antique shop and that was great, too. There were not a lot of shops still operating. There were only three hotel options and we chose the highest rated one, but would go with the Best Western next time because the breakfast they served was so good. Probably would plan not to stop here if possible but it worked for us on this trip.Guest review byLarryUnited States

Chuck wagon environment right down to the trail cookie preparing omelets by order. Tin cans and plates. 2 flavors of waffles.fiesta fixings for omelets. I had jalapeño, mushrooms,onions,green peppers sausage and cheese. Would have had tomatoes had they not had fresh salsa to top. Breakfast was awesome. The French toast was perfect. Sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes really hit the spot. In addition to orange and apple juice they had zero calorie fruit flavored water.
