Frostburg did not have a lot of food options beyond fast...
Frostburg did not have a lot of food options beyond fast food. Several restaurants that were available did not have ample parking. You need to go to Lavale to get better options ( about 5 miles). However, this hotel was very convenient to Frostburg College in that 1 exit from the college. It is a great value. All shops are closed in Frostburg on Sunday and Monday which was surprising to me. Very limited food options in town. Streets were deserted, even Frostburg University. I didn't particularly feel safe as I took a late afternoon walk. After checking Frostburg city safety ratings I would not recommend traveling alone there.
