I didn't do much in Dobson,.
I didn't do much in Dobson,. I was on a Motorcycle tour and just passing thru. The "Diner" next door was open early, served good food at a great price with a friendly staff. Hotel accomodations were dated and worn out. The Staff was so friendly and polite, and made our stay better than it should have been. This place needs a face lift, bad.

The hotel was easy to find from interstate and located in a quiet, serene area. Good hospitality from front desk and morning breakfast staff. Room was well furnished, comfortable and clean. We used exercise room which was well equipped, clean and stocked with towels and water.

Front desk staff was very friendly upon check in. Hotel rate is generally less than the surrounding area. It is conveniently close to Mt. Airy as well as Elkin. Room had a small fridge, freezer and coffee maker which was convenient

Toured wineries in the area and stayed in a close hotel so we didn't have to drive far.
