Blue Ridge, GA is central to lots of activities and sites in the area. Many things are not in Blue Ridge, just like all surrounding communities, but Blue Ridge felt "central" to it all. One of North Georgia's best locations to just "slow down and relax". Main street in downtown offers a wide variety of shopping and dining options - though most places close at 9 pm - so if your looking for late night dining options you'll be limited. We enjoyed the train ride, Bigfoot museum, the Cuban cafe (rum cake delish!!!). Parking not bad for us but I could see later in the day that it might be a problem… especially those 3 hour max spaces for a 4 hour train ride😀. Blue Ridge has lots of downtown shops and eateries. The Zoo Groovy Metal Yard Art Place outside of Blue Ridge is a fun, quirky spot to take colorful photos. We had a great time.Guest review byPatUnited States - 10.0

The people at Blue Ridge were wonderful and helpful. Do visit the Welcome Center. Reene made our trip to Blue Ridge extra special with all her recommendations. My grandkids have ask to return soon. Warning... if you are coming for train ride check if train is available. Certain days train does not run. I plan to visit your town again. Reene at the Welcome Center, thank you. An old motel that was supposed to have been renovated.
An old motel that was supposed to have been renovated. No mattress on bed, only a 6 inch thick piece of foam.... on a cot like frame. No box spring. Mildew on shower grout, rust on floor drain. Air conditioner was so loud I could not hear the tv. It was ancient and on the floor with no instructions on how to operate. The antique dresser had handles askew going in all directions.
