Brand new modern hotel: light wood, well lit hallways, great lighting fixtures and very clean, Location is excellent for wineries, close to Geneva itself. 20 minutes to Geneva on the Lake (though now mostly closed for the season... Of course, right near SPIRE. Great breakfast. And the suite had a wonderful kitchenette: 2 burner stove, small dishwasher, apt size fridge, coffee maker, pots pans etc etc

    We only stayed overnight but got there in the late afternoon and we're able to walk around the "harbor". Seemed nice. Ate at the smokehouse, which was very good- meat very tender and tasty.

    The house is close to the key places we wanted to visit.

    The house is close to the key places we wanted to visit. We rode bikes in the neighborhood, which was quiet and pleasant. We spent most of our time on Bridge street for restaurants and shops, but also liked going to Geneva on the Lake.

    The woman at the desk couldn't have been nicer and it was quiet. But the toilet in our room hadn't been wiped down in a while. The rim under the seat and the outside of the bowl was not clean.

    The area has many beaches at your fingertips, each one...

    The area has many beaches at your fingertips, each one giving you a unique experience. There is a strip in Ashtabula that has good restaurants and fun shops. You are close to Geneva on the Lake for a beach town experience, and the sunsets along the water are very pretty.

    The location wasn't the best, and not where we usually stay.

    The location wasn't the best, and not where we usually stay. The room deposit was a bit scary. And, the halls were shabby. We didn't expect much. However, when we got to the room it was GREAT! SO clean. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were great. The A/C worked better than expected. It was big room. And there were bedbug covers on the matress and box springs. NO evidence of bedbugs AT ALL. NONE! That is a bonus. The staff was helpful and friendly, and very funny.

    The place was by far the dirtiest hotel in area. The jets on the overpri Ed hot tub were so dirty that while in it I realized there was stuff floating.after draining it we were horrified to see it was from the jets. Thr toilet in bathroom was so dirty it looked like it wasn't cleaned for ages. Bedding was dirty the duvet and sheets. It the breakfast was nothing cold cereal and stale muffins.

    This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is a little ways off the freeway but well worth the detour. Friendly staff both front desk as well as in the bar. I think this would be an ideal place to stay for a get away weekend. I wish I had more time to walk around the area
