Very nice setting with lots to see and do.

Very nice setting with lots to see and do. Biltmore Estate is the jewel, though a bit expensive. Many nice shops and eateries. We were a bit disappointed by the number of homeless and panhandlers on the streets.

Definitely do the trolley tour around Asheville to get a feel of the neighborhoods. Woolworth Walk/Gallery worth the visit. Botanical Gardens was disappointing, maybe because of the time of year. The Omni Grove Resort IS a great place for sunsets and drinks, but crowded and expensive. We spent only one full day in Asheville, driving south. Will plan to return to spend more time. What YouTubers tell you about the bears and the homeless is true, but both kind of keep to themselves.

Asheville is filled with great artwork and plenty of wonderful places to shop and purchase art. It is also a foodie town and plenty of choices to fit anyone's taste. The history of Asheville is so interesting with the Biltmore tour, a must see. For nature lovers, a beautiful drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway with lunch or dinner at the top of the mountain at the Pisgah Inn,(need reservations) hikers, trails everywhere for all skill levels. Water lovers, rafting, paddling and boating on mountain lakes. And if you are a Beer lover then this is the town for you. Asheville is a jewel and wonderful place to have fun, relax and enjoy good food , drink and Mother Nature.

We really enjoyed the Pisgah Inn on the Blue Ridge Parkway for lunch. Beautiful drive and really good food with beautiful views of the mountains. We also enjoyed the Front Porch restaurant in Biltmore Village for lunch. Very good and excellent food at a reasonable price.

We did the Urban Art Trail, following the leaflet and it was so much fun. There's masses to see and it was really nice to come across statues and artworks giving some insight into the history of Asheville. The town has lots of independent shops and many architecturally interesting buildings. We stopped for coffee in a great independent bookshop called Malaprop's and later went to the Jack of the Wood pub for a pint and a light supper entertained by the folk music from the musicians who regularly play there, which was wonderful. There were about 12 of them, with guitars, accordion, violins, banjo, ukelele and double bass. I may have seen a cello too. We also visited the art gallery which had some really beautiful pieces and a café right at the top with great views. We thought Asheville was a lovely town and we'd highly recommend visiting, we wished we could have had a few more days

Asheville Biltmore is recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Helene. We wanted to visit & support the community. The local artisans are quite good with unique points of view. Biltmore is mostly back and their are furious construction efforts underway to repair Biltmore Village. Our visit took place when the trees were just starting to turn. The views will be outstanding from Mid-October through Thanksgiving!

Our room was very spacious, comfy and beautifully appointed. The cold breakfast buffet is good and there are a great range of hot items to choose from, which are freshly prepared to order. The daily happy hour was a nice treat too. The location is very convenient for historic downtown Asheville and also the Blue Ridge mountains, Biltmore, and Chimney Rock. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

We had a room at the front of the hotel and the street noise was horrible. There was a loud boom from a mechanicle room every 15 minutes. The bed was comfy, the staff were great, breakfast kinda sucks. It is a great location if you are there for downtown fun but lower your standards when you relax in your room.
