Being a frequent traveler when we are in the area we always stop off in Plains for a sandwich at the Buffalo Cafe and some peanut butter ice cream. We also choose the Days Inn for the comfort and convenience before traveling on. It is a wonderful peaceful part of Georgia with great back roads to travel on. Off the main roads there are endless cotton fields, pecan groves, farms and corn fields. Surprisingly there is a phone history museum in the area with a great old automobile museum in the back of it.

We stayed in Americus because we were visiting the Andersonville Civil War prison site and Plains, Georgia, and it was the only local town offering overnight accommodations. Other-than-that we would not have been in Americus.

The bathroom was antiquated.
The bathroom was antiquated. Even had initials scratched in the wall. Small toilet, too low to the ground, looked like an elementary school reject. They advertised on your site that the pool was open, yet the Health Department has it closed. Altogether unsatisfactory
