Classic Pacific northwest logging town.

Classic Pacific northwest logging town. Trees, local taverns and eateries and tons of vintage stores. We stopped in on our way to Olympic National Park. If you're in Washington a stop in Aberdeen is a great way to experience the history of this beautiful state!

We didn't really explore too much of Aberdeen as we were just there for one night. We only picked it as it was a convenient stopping point on the way, not because of Kurt Cobain (although you could make a tour of his childhood home, etc., if you really want). Aberdeen is a funky mix of working class (logging trucks driving through downtown) and some gentrification.

I feel this little town has great potential.

I feel this little town has great potential. Upon arrival, it just seemed grim, dark and sad. I did find a pretty flower. Food was good, atmosphere not very fun. The town should invest a little more in business, and upgrades.

Limited commercial food options above a 2.5.

Limited commercial food options above a 2.5. High priced food at best restaurants was no higher than 2.5 for overpriced food. City streets are confusing. Multiple confusing 1-way streets that don't get you where you want to go. About 4 cities with common street boundaries that don't advise the driver that they are changing cities. Pleasant environment.

Its a shi*hole town with little to nothing to see uts a good spot to stop for supplys if your heading further north the walmart is useful as is safe way but the fast food is hit and miss the only thing that is 24 hr besides the tweekers is 7/11 and AMPM. The cops are cool never had an issue with them so thats a bonus. Over all avoid it if you can aberdeen is the hell hole of the pacific !!!

Aberdeen is so much better to stay in than Ocean Shores!

Aberdeen is so much better to stay in than Ocean Shores! The food is much cheaper and to everyone's liking - the hotels are alot cheaper and its only 20 minutes to Ocean Shores to go play in the ocean! There are also alot more family fun in this sweet town.. All the one way streets are a bit odd to get through but designed for large volumes of traffic so it made sense.

Decent breakfast including a specialty coffee machine. Staff were helpful. Not far from downtown, walking distance to some good dining options. Really like the fact it was on the water and you could sit outside on a patio behind the hotel and take it all in. The king room was comfortable and spacious.

This motel is freshly renovated, so the room was new and clean. For me it was the cheapest hotel in Aberdeen, despite it was 80$, but it was good like other motels in US. Fridge and coffee in our room. Car park free.

Got upgraded to a larger room on arrival with a kitchenette. Comfortable night’s sleep. Better quality hotel for lower price than others in Aberdeen and surrounding area (eg Forks)
