I only stayed one night upon arriving in the area. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It located off the main road but in easy walking distance to small shops and other conveniences. Thank you Godwin for the very interesting walking safari through the nearby forest. Airport pick up available any time.

We definitely recommend OYA Guest House and can’t wait to come back on our next mission! The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, the food is absolutely amazing and abundant. The staff is super kind and gentle, they are ready to answer at any doubt or question, and in case you need something. The hostel is surrounded by nature, it has been a pleasure to spend some days there! It is located at 30 minutes away by car from jro airport and 30 minutes from Arusha city centre.

The property is located very close to the gate of the Arusha National Park making it ideal for a day's safari. The rooms are well set out amongst the lush gardens and are incredibly clean. Although the beds are narrow, the mattress was extremely comfortable with nice bedding and matching curtains. The restaurant and sitting area were well appointed, airy, and beautifully constructed. We booked a safari and packed lunches from the lodge and were well pleased. the children enjoyed the swimming pool and games room while the adults swapped their books in the small library. The staff were always willing and helpful.

I will return once I am ready with my safari. USA River has a lot to offer. Close to Arusha National Park, on the slopes of Mount Meru. Close to Kilimanjaro Airport and Arusha Town Centre. And still in the middle of nature or little authentic Tanzania villages. Beautiful area to stay a bit longer!
