The airport transfer, even at 3 am, was smooth. Despite the late arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a snack waiting for us, which was so thoughtful considering the late hour – a lovely touch. The next day, the hotel staff kindly offered us a different room when they noticed the initial one wasn't quite to our liking – a lovely gesture that really showed their attentiveness. We were also very happy with the excellent internet signal throughout our stay. It was a nice touch to have our water replenished daily in the room, along with some biscuits. The hotel itself was generally very peaceful and quiet, providing a truly relaxing atmosphere. We did notice that the hotel seemed to be quite empty during our visit. However, what truly stood out was the incredible attention, friendliness, and helpfulness of the staff. A special mention must go to Anita, the manager, who was exceptional, as well as Cecília, the supervisor, and the ever-cheerful Issa and Leonard, who were always so kind and attentive during our meals. We also had a wonderful interaction with Ismail, a gardener, who went above and beyond by climbing a coconut tree to get us fresh coconut water one afternoon – such a treat! On a particularly rainy day, the lovely manager Anita did everything she could to make the situation more enjoyable for us. We also really appreciated Leonard, the waiter, who took the initiative to note down our breakfast preferences and share them with his colleagues for the days he wasn't working, so we didn't have to repeat ourselves. The proximity of the beach and the pool was fantastic. And the massage I received from Janeth? Honestly, it was the best I've ever had. And believe me, I've had massages in Bali and Thailand, so that's saying something!

We had a great stay at Hotel F-Zeen! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. A special shout-out to Jumani, who helped us find the perfect excursion and made sure we experienced the best that Zanzibar has to offer. George, the manager, was extremely accommodating and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Meki was also amazing—fantastic guide, super organized and helpful in arranging tours. We also want to thank all the wonderful cooks, drivers, and other staff members like Oscar, who made our stay so enjoyable. The team even went the extra mile to organize a surprise birthday celebration for one of us, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch!

Hands down the best hotel in beautiful Michamvi. Out of pure luck we were the only guests during our stay, which really made us feel like a queen and a kind. The place is amazing, with breathtaking views and and amazing sunset. The staff were all kind and friendly. Their kitchen is excellent at a very friendly price (a somewhat larger selection of meals would be a bonus). On top of all they let us do a late checkout without having to pay anything extra. Thank you Precious & Crew :)

Everything was great. The location, the room, the pool, the breakfast. In our two months in Zanzibar we’ve been all over the island and this is truly one of the best places we’ve been to. the staff is very involved, which means that the accommodation is well maintained and everything runs smoothly. Hope it stays that way, so I can come back some day! They have lovely dogs too by the way :)

You need to be in a resort to enjoy the stay, in my opinion. The area outside is very dirty, busy, and not very pretty. The water is not pretty at all and the water is dirty. You need to go further North (like Nungwi) for the blue water.

The resort was clean and had the island atmosphere. Food was good and a variety to choose wwwith different restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Just a reminnder that you will pay extra at the airport for insurance fees and also extra tax fees at the hotel if its not included in your original price.

This area has less tourism than some other areas in Zanzi...

This area has less tourism than some other areas in Zanzi bar, it has what you need, different restaurangs, a super market, beachbar and so on. There is not so many other tourists here so you feel like its really a part of an small island. If you are looking for highend dining and alot of shopping then i advise you to look for another area or do as we did - get a car or a taxi its ok priced for a full day. The traffic was really suprising - its was better then most so called modern countries - slow, keeping distance -respecting each other - we rented a car for 3 days and it was super nice. We payed 30usd/day + 10usd for the local driving license - dont drive to fast or drunk - the police are really on there toes - and mind the big roadbumps... We ate a lot of lobster and fish - always fresh - never dissapointed, we also ate alot of vegetarian food - its everywere great dishes.

The location was excellent.

The location was excellent. The vegetation was very nice, and the seating places were very comfortable. Following my unfavourable interaction with cats, we were upgraded to a bigger room with an ocean view since I have ailurophobia (cat phobia). Thanks to the hotel owners for such a gesture. We had an issue with our bank card, and they also gave us more time during our stay to sort this out. Disliked · Being an Ailurophobia (Cats phobic), I did not enjoy the outdoor space because several cats roamed everywhere, including the restaurant, balconies and stairs. This has nothing to do with the owners but my personal condition. I advise those with similar conditions to avoid this place. Areas of improvement include breakfast - more food diversity and a balanced diet are needed. The beds in the rooms need to be fixed to avoid noise. Bathrooms need upgrading.

Spice market was very interesting to learn and see how the herbs and spices we use on a daily basis is grown and cultivated. Stone Town has a lot of history and a spice shoppers paradise. Prison Island wasn’t bad, expected more but the turtles made it worth the visit.

Very small quiet village on the east coast of Zanzibar, perfect for a relaxing romantic vacation. If some action is needed you can go to the nearby Kiwendwa, only 20 20-minute drive, or to the bigger more touristy areas in the north up to an hour drive. But to enjoy the island in full Uroa is one of the best places. And the best food! (we have tried in 5 different villages across Zanzibar!

I booked a trip for my parents, this is their feedback: Staff super friendly. The hotel was really nice, the rooms had amazing mattress. The food was also very good. We booked several day trips with them and everything went well. On our last day, the checkout was early and our flight late, but they were amazing and moved us to another room free of charge. I recommend.

The staff in general were very nice and polite, all the time. The food in the hotel was really good, however it always took us 1-2 hours to get our dishes… The nature around is always good to see. Don’t recommend to stay in this place for more then 2 days.
