Id Like to thank all the staff for an absolutely memorable stay :) Amani,Abdullah, Mushraf and Israel were providing top tier service during the stay. They deserve a big pay rise and they are an asset to the team. Also would like to thank the ladies. Khadogo for the kindness she showed us aswell as Baby, Asha and Katherine. Absolutely amazing people. Take care of them ! The resort is 10/10. Been all over Europe and Arabia but this one felt special. Everything you need the team are more than happy to accommodate your needs. The pool area is great for relaxing. They are always happy to take you to the beach with the buggy (alternatively you can walk five minutes). The food is unreal. The breakfast is very tasty and so fresh ! The lunch and dinner menu is amazing too. The Grilled Chicken was 10/10. The chef came out and introduced herself to us. I forgot her name. Please forgive me. Amazing food Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The outdoor shower was a vibe and a very cool feature. 24/7 Security so you felt safe all the time. Convenience store across the road. Currency exchange down the road. Highly Recommend Samawa Living. Not going to get this quality in many places these days.

The Garten Living is a lovely place to stay. The location is perfect with the beach and restaurants within walking distance. At the hotel, we enjoyed the atmosphere, the garden, and the nice spacious room with the ensuit bathroom. But most of all, we fell in love with the enthusiastic and motivated staff of the hotel. They all went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Our room was always clean, and everything we needed was taken care of. Zanzibar has its challenges with electricity, but the hotel staff works with great perseverance around this. Visiting Zanzibar made us realize how privileged a lot of us are in the world, and it humbled us in every sense as a traveler. Zanzibar will always have a special place in our hearts, and this is especially because of staying at The Garten Living.

The perfect place to visit Paje. The staff exceeded all expectations. The friendliness and kindness of the staff, namely Anna, Zenna and John made this visit unforgettable. The delicious breakfasts were a perfect start to each day. Anna really went out of her way to assist us as a family group and was very responsive to our requests. The meals prepared by John were all done with care and were so tasty.

my fiance and I only stayed 2 days at the end of our vacation. A real shame to stay so little to be delighted with Nicole and Simon's Croissants ... the rooms are super new and equipped, minimal design with the use of creatively recycled materials. It is certainly a unique and original hotel, as well as its location on the main road, easy and close for all services and 5min from the beach.

Perfect stay in Mem Luxury Hotel, our best hotel in Zanzibar so far ! The room is nice, large and clean with hot shower and the wifi is working ! The staff is just amazing, really nice people always here to help and to assist you ! The swimming pool is wide and long The restaurant is also totally tasty, they know how to cook fishes perfectly and the breakfast is also big and good ! We recommend this hotel 👍

    It was a great stay for me and my family. The best part of this hotel is the entire staff. Extremely friendly and courteous.Always smiling and greeting at every opportunity.A special thanks goes to Fadhila who made us and especially my daughter feel very special and welcome.The Manager was also very friendly and polite.Overall I would rate my stay as exceptional.

    Paje is a very awesome and lively place to visit. As a solo traveller, I had no difficulty looking for activities, places to eat, or party, since they were all around. Definitely a place to visit over and over again

    A wide variety of restaurants, good food.

    A wide variety of restaurants, good food. Lovey eatery's on the beach overlooking the ocean. Easy to walk around to the market and the local shops. Ideal holiday for those who love the ocean and water sport's, the local friendliness is an added bonus.

    Paje has long white sandy beaches with beautiful turquois water .. a wind surfers paradise. Great for long lazy days just to soak up the sun and enjoy good food. It is very easy to get around Paje, we spent most of our time eating at Bento, quality food at affordable price.

    The Paje beach itself didn't seem that swimmable due to so...

    The Paje beach itself didn't seem that swimmable due to so many kite surfers taking over the beach. But the property has an amazing pool that you can spend hours in, which is what we did and then went down to the beach for sundowners and dinners in the evenings. Every restaurant we ate at was delicious. Our top favorites were Hello Capitano, Zanzibarista, Roots, Plants, and Basil. The Paje Square cafe is nice for coffee and pastries as well.

    The beaches were Picture perfect beautiful!

    The beaches were Picture perfect beautiful! Take the tides into consideration; low tide really pulls back VERY far, but it made for an amazing walk INTO the ocean. I would recommend beach shoes as we did spot a few sea urchint's. High tide was great for swimming. Calm and warm with little to no currents. Lots of Hotels, Restuarants and Bars on the beach, and shops nearby which was convenient. My only issue is that is was quiet dirty. Not on the beach but all the roads around the main beach. Also the Beach Boys, Masai and Hawkers on the Beach was INSANE. Everyone is trying to sell you something. It was extremely annoying. Other then that, Paje is a busy place, with lots of activities and lots to do... Becareful of being taken advantage of regarding pricing, compare and negotiate or you will be hussled...

    I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel, located right on the beach in Paje, Zanzibar! The rooms are spacious, clean, and decorated in a local style, offering a stunning ocean view. The staff is extremely friendly and always attentive to our needs. Breakfast on the terrace, with the ocean breeze in the background, was a real treat. The pool is perfect for relaxing, and the direct beach access makes everything even more special. We will definitely come back!

    It was definitely the highlight of our stay in Zanzibar, my fiancee and I absolutely loved this place and the attention to detail of what guest needs. It was beyond wonderful how we were treated and the breakfast or brunch was so delicious. For the price it was extremely good value for money and easy to access any place at Paje, also about a 5minutes walk to the beach
