I don’t even know where to start. The place is so amazing! I stayed here for one night wishing I could stay longer.. The Garten is a layed back boutique hotel with jungle garden vibes. The room was spacious and super cozy with an extra comfy bed. What I really liked was a private terrace in front of the room to chill in the evening. Staff was really friendly and I liked how the manager really did his best to make me feel welcome, comfortable and „at home”. Breakfast was enjoyable - I loved the oats and fresh fruit selection, as well as the baked yummies. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The hotel is a small and cozy property overlooking the stunning white beach of Paje. It is impeccably maintained, well-appointed, and offers every comfort you could wish for. With only 14 rooms, the Amani is an adults-only boutique hotel, perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. From the beginning to the end of our stay, we were pampered by the staff. The team is made up of wonderful, kind, and attentive people who made us feel at home. The cuisine was outstanding, with dishes varying daily based on the availability of fresh ingredients. The beach is beautiful and the water very warm. Because of the strong tides there's only water in the morning and the afternoon but it makes the beach very interesting and beautiful and gives the oportunity to walk far out and find seashells and starfish. The only downside to the beach is the many very insisting sellers who make it impossible to go for a walk without being approached.

Paje, beautiful place and beach, plenty of restaurants both on the beach and on the road. The only downside is that the beach is in the shade by 16:30 and very high and low tides makes taking a dip complicated !

It was a great stay for me and my family.

It was a great stay for me and my family. The best part of this hotel is the entire staff. Extremely friendly and courteous.Always smiling and greeting at every opportunity.A special thanks goes to Fadhila who made us and especially my daughter feel very special and welcome.The Manager was also very friendly and polite.Overall I would rate my stay as exceptional.

A wide variety of restaurants, good food. Lovey eatery's on the beach overlooking the ocean. Easy to walk around to the market and the local shops. Ideal holiday for those who love the ocean and water sport's, the local friendliness is an added bonus.

Paje has long white sandy beaches with beautiful turquois water .. a wind surfers paradise. Great for long lazy days just to soak up the sun and enjoy good food. It is very easy to get around Paje, we spent most of our time eating at Bento, quality food at affordable price.

It was one of the most relaxing experiences we've had in Zanzibar. The room was spotless, with modern furniture, a large comfortable bed, quiet A/C, and a spacious bathroom with great water pressure. We enjoyed beautifully presented dinners – fresh seafood, local spices, and generous portions that were full of flavor. The beach bar became our go-to spot for sunset drinks, with chill music and an unbeatable view of the Indian Ocean. Staff were kind, professional, and responsive to any request. A true hidden gem in Paje!

We loved our 8 day stay at DarMar hostel. The staff is amazing, especially Bojana, the manager, she is a true gem! The vibe in the hostel is perfect, the staff does everything to make your stay very enjoyable. The pool and hangout area are great to chill during the hot days. Also the restaurant serves delicious food. We would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a social, relaxed stay in Paje, Zanzibar. We will definitely return here when we return to the island :)

Very nice hotel with a lovely garden, great staff, very close to the beach and near restaurants and shops. They also have a nice pool, yoga classes, massage and can organise trips for the guests. The room was big and very comfortable, with the aircon working really well (and you need it in February when it's so hot in Zanzibar).

Really relaxing boutique hotel. The bungalows were spacious and clean. The breakfast was great and the staff were all so friendly. The pool was nice and clean too! Only a minute walk to the beach and close to lots of bars and restaurants. Seems to still be known as the former name 'Heart of Zanzibar'
