We had a fantastic time. The family were very welcoming. The location is an oasis amongst the noise and it had all the creature comforts we wanted. We came back three times as we loved it so much. The garden is a joy to walk around and the pool is a good size. Myself and my daughter were very happy with are stay and have recommended it to our family for future visits.

We were fortunate to stumble across this brand new lodge just outside of Arusha. Everything was perfect, from the modern and comfortable rooms to the wonderful staff to the excellent food. Being one of the first guests we were treated like royals. Conveniently located on a little hill, you have a great view of Mount Meru and of the Arusha airport. You can watch a lot of little birds in the savannah trees from the dining area, or watch the small planes on their final approach to the landing strip. The lodge has done a great job landscaping with lots of native plants and trees, and is currently in the process of finishing up the last rooms as well as the pool area. If we are ever back in Arusha we know where to stay!

We had a great stay at Shamba Lodge. The cabin is just wonderful. The bed is big and comfy, the bathroom is clean and there is hot water. We had dinner there and it was delicious. Breakfast was great, too. Staff was really kind.
