We had an incredible time. The hotel is in a great location, the staff is amazing and we really enjoyed the food. Anna was super supportive, we had a minor injury while on an excursion and she directed us to a good hospital, helped us get a taxi, etc. I would definetly recommend staying here!

Just got back from Mia Boutique Hotel in Michamvi, Zanzibar, and it was amazing! The place is super quiet and right by the beach, which is awesome because you're just steps away from this gorgeous sandbank and the blue lagoon. Seriously, the sea stars there are a must-see! Never have seen so many sea stars with different colors concentrated at one spot. The rooms are brand new and super clean. And the staff? Wow, they couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. They are all so attentive! Thank you Faidha, Michael, Innocent, Mudrick, and Asanati for making our stay so pleasant!!! :) So in general you get way more than what you pay for. Had a fantastic time exploring, relaxing, and just soaking in the vibes. Highly recommend it if you’re heading to Zanzibar and want a top-notch, laid-back place to stay.

Exceptional place to stay. The facilities - swimming pool, bar and restaurant were all first class. Food was delicious. Best of all was the wonderful welcome and hospitality shown by the fantastic owners Petra and Thomas. They went way beyond what one could expect to make sure my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Highly recommended

From the moment we arrived, Maite made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She even recommended local attractions and made sure we had all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. Maite's attention to detail truly made our stay exceptional. This certainly exceeded my expectations! I stayed for a week alone (really, I was the inly guest) and it was perfect. The Staff is so friendly and welcoming, felt at home immediately. The place is located one minute away from a white sand beautiful beach. The room was new, big shower, & the bed very comfortable. The fan worked perfectly. The breakfast amazing with fruits, fresh tropical juice, and home-made pancakes! Free drinking water, and I had lunch there and they made a special vegan dish for me, super tasty veggie curry and rice. I was skeptical when I read the other reviews, but this is definitely an excellent place to stay. 100% recommend. Thank you Mohammed for the lovely food, and big thanks to Salum, the owner, who gave me the opportunity of witnessing a Zanzibar Village wedding. Will stay in my mind forever 🌞 Many blessings to you.

    Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable. Greetings Paula& Johannes from The Netherlands . We are looking forward to come back again .

    the welcoming commetee was amazing. They made us feel at home. Checking in was a breeze and the pool bar staff was so helpful and friendly. I loved the music by the pool area,it was inclusive to all nations. Tha food was amazing the whole experience was great. I was there to celebrate my birthday and they made it extra special. From the decoration in my room,to the suprise cake and singing.i had a good time. The rock resturant is less than 5min away, we wemt there using the free bicycle offered at the hotel.

    Enjoyed having lunch at the Rock and also liked the lunch at Kea restaurant.It is simple getting around Michamvi and don't even have to ask your way around.We enjoyed snorkling and going to the star fish spot

    This is the perfect hotel for anyone looking for a quiet beach get away. The staff was amazing, the location is beautiful, right on the beach! The rooms are very spacious with great views, accurate to the pictures on there website. The food is good, the pool is great and they have a very affordable spa. The beach in front is a beautiful white sand beach with a insane view of the sunset! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy Zanzibar!

    by walking distance you could reach Kae Funk, which is lovely place, with party, and amazing sunset view. Is right place for whom are interested for The Rock, by taxi it takes aprox. 25 min, the same to Paje beach. Michamwi is calm and full of nature. Unfortunately the ocean is full of seeweeds and is not pleasant to swim here.

    It has some really nice beaches in the area and wonderful...

    It has some really nice beaches in the area and wonderful blue ocean as far as the eye can see. It's also quiet and very tranquil. We enjoyed a nice long walk on the beach with little to no interruptions from beach boys of sellers.

    The room was exactly as it is on the pictures. The bed was big and comfortable. The hotel area is beautiful and spacious. I really liked that there were enough sunbeds for all guests and the place was never crowed. The pool is great, breakfast is amazing and in general the food at the restaurant was very good. I also loved the location, Michamvi beach: I was afraid that it will be too hidden with no services/restaurants, but there was everything there what is needed. It was quiet, but not too quiet.

    Mount Zion is a magnificent resort close the beach in a peaceful and beautiful location. We loved our stay and enjoyed the nice and relaxed atmosphere a lot. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had a good stay. The rooms are spacious with nice garden view. The resort is very close to the beach and it’s beautiful to go for a walk or swim or watch the sunset. We can really recommend Mount Zion to everyone who want to visit Zanzibar. Perfect.

    We had an exceptional experience. Everything was truly excellent, from the bungalow, cleanliness, pool, breakfast and restaurant to the staff. Peace and quiet for relaxation. Beach right below the accommodation, both for swimming and walking. Kindness and help from Anna and Mohamed in organizing island exploration and activities. We recommend a visit.     Amazing hotel, the pictures don’t do it justice. Friendly staff, special shout out to the best house keeper Doto- really appreciated his excellent service and hospitality. Loads of amazing restaurants nearby would definitely recommend the amazing food at the Trench Town restaurant (in the village, 5 mins walk from the hotel). Also all food is halal in the hotel and in all restaurants surrounding it as Zanzibar is 90% muslim.
