It's a quiet place. The house is located in a guarded area. The beach is a 5 minutes walk away. The pool was very nice. Wifi was slightly better than other places I have visited in Zanzibar. Every day you get a huge breakfast made for you in the villa. There is AC in every room so you can set the temperature to what you like. It felt really luxurious and we didn't feel anything was missing during our stay. Outside the area you need transport to get to stores, activities, so make sure you have contact information to drivers. There is plenty of ATMs within 5 minute drive and I had no issues withdrawing Tanzanian shillings from them.

The apartment was lovely and clean and perfectly situated on the beach. There were plenty of choices for food around the area and the staff were so helpful if you wanted to go anywhere a bit further. As it was Ramadan, I used the hotel next door to use the private beach and have lunch and coffee during the day. Freddie, the chef, cooked a beautiful breakfast daily with pancakes, a full fry up and fresh fruit and he was very friendly. He also offered lunch and dinner. Suleiman took me to the cash point and shop when I needed which wasn't far and I could have walked but it was quite hot so it made it easier to drive. The locals and Messai's were very helpful and would walk with me when I couldn't find restaurants I was trying to get to. I felt very safe with the Messai security and people around the accommodation. The restaurant next door served amazing fresh lobster for such a reasonable price and the local beach had beautiful wildlife like starfish and sea urchins.

Instagram picture worthy, amazing big rooms, pool and service. They were really friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was a big plus! Food was good, depending on the dish. Good safety. Good Airconditioning and mosquito treatment.

Each morning, we enjoyed spectacular views of the turquoise Indian Ocean from our balcony - a dream in white and blue. The culinary offerings at Eco Shic are simply sensational. The kitchen delighted us with a perfect fusion of local specialties and international dishes. Fresh seafood, exotic spices, and crisp vegetables - every meal was a feast for the senses. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, and the sundowner at the beach bar was the perfect end to each day. The staff deserves special mention. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and warm Zanzibari charm made our stay truly special. me and my daughter just turned back home and already miss our great stay. the room are very clean , have all you need. breakfast and dinner are superlatives. loved to step out the room and putting my barefoot directly on the sand...few steps more and you're directly on the wide, white beach. you can use the two bicycles to wander around and if you love to sleep with the sound of the ocean, the quietness of the nature surrounding you, great staff at your disposal what whatever you need...well this is the right spot. thanks to Sebastian and laura :-))
