Perfect location, entrance is withing the 7-Eleven. The hotel is right next to the bus stop en center of Shuishe. The room was nicely decorated, spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Definitely recommend to stay here. I even was given NT$200 in vouchers to use for breakfast (or anything else besides alcohol and tobacco) at the 7-Eleven.

The accommodation is in a quiet location. The room is large and everything is super clean. From the balcony you have a wonderful view over the lake and you can enjoy the same view from the huge bathtub. In the room there is a fridge, kettle and some snacks and drinks. The location is close to Suishe Visitor Center where the bus drops visitors off. It's about a 20 minute walk with luggage but we asked the hotel shuttle to pick us up and drop us off at the visitors center when we arrived and left. You can also schedule ahead of time if you want the shuttle to drop you off at Suishe at other times. There was a large buffet breakfast that was quite tasty. The room was also very clean and we liked the view. There were many bikes to use for free to bike along the bike path. This is not a criticism (and Sun Moon Lake is primarily a domestic tourist location) but a FYI - if you don't speak Chinese, communication with the hotel staff might be a bit challenging. Some staff had a little bit of English language skills but that was not necessarily consistent. That's ok though :) just be prepared with some sort of translator app which is definitely useful in Taiwan anyway.
