It's a tiny town with fewer restaurants to choose from comparing to HuaLiang which is 18KM south of XinCheng. But, this town is also 18 KM closer to Taroko National Park. Even though he did not speak English, communication was easy via google translate. He showed a lot of attention to detail and even invited us for some snacks. The room was spacious and clean and there was a common room with a laundry machine and some complimentary tea and coffee. The building is a normal taiwanese residential building, not a hotel, so the windows and insulation are taiwanese standard.
