Good value for price paid. Breakfast included was good Turkish breakfast with fresh ingredients. We had two dinners cooked for us which we thoroughly enjoyed ( the fish cooked perfectly). The friendly welcoming hosts.

The Portakal is a really lovely little hotel. The staff can't do enough for you, and are extremely friendly. The breakfast is exceptional. So much choice. Very clean, and the rooms are extremely well presented. We had a mini break and loved it.

We were in Köyceğiz helping out at the dog rescue centre

We were in Köyceğiz helping out at the dog rescue centre That with over 450 dogs need all help it can get, the small town is beautiful with the big lake the main draw, it was out of season and very few tourists, but there was a good choice of restaurants and don’t miss eating at the fish market at nighttime.

Location excellent, Staff although very polite no one except the manager spoke English and 70 % of the time he was not there, I had emailed to asl for a kettle in room[Over 70] love my bedtime cuppa but none provided Disappointef in breakfast no eggs first day only CHEESE as protein, no fruit at all shocked as oranges are so cheap in Turkey so i requested yoghurt as protein and suffered no fresh fruit Very basic so i thought it was little over priced for Turkey so next time i will use booking .com but not return to hotel

Family run hotel with friendly staff. The room was quiet, large and clean. You are at a walking distance from the lake. Coffee and tea is on the house and breakfast is served ourdoors.
