I had a very positive experience at Mehmet's place, it's set in spectacular scenery, in the wildest countryside on the lower slopes of Nemrut Dagi, it's very authentic, it's also friendly and informal. I'd explained in advance that the other special place for birdwatching in the region was Birecik and there was no accomodation or transport there and the staff made special arrangements to take me there, take me round the best places and take me back.

Excellent location for staying to go up to see the sunrise, but l can imagine it would be good to stay longer for long walks to see the surroundings properly, we only had a day unfortunately. Staff and the owner were great very welcoming and the chef was so accommodating for me and my husband's dietary requirements 😃👍 hope to come back in the future to see how the owner will develop the place, still work in progress but we had everything we need. Great views from the balconies.
