Staying in this room was an absolutely amazing experience! The cleanliness was beyond exceptional – everything was spotless and beautifully organized. I was impressed by the attention to detail: there was coffee, biscuits, a variety of teas, and even high-quality toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and soap from well-known brands. The location is also perfect – in La Marsa, one of the most upscale neighborhoods in Tunis, and very close to tourist attractions like Sidi Bou Said. I originally booked for two nights, but I was so impressed that I wanted to extend my stay. Unfortunately, the following days were already fully booked. Overall, a truly outstanding experience – I give it a solid 10/10 and would definitely love to come back!

It’s difficult to write a review about this property without it sounding unbelievable, that’s because it is, unbelievably good in every way. The hotel is a quiet area a short journey from the airport, close to the Roman archeological sites of Carthage, stunning views from the roof terrace, staff that couldn’t have done more to make our stay perfect, including meeting requirements for gluten free food and providing guidance for finding our way around. The property is impeccably clean and tastefully designed. The food cooked to order for us was excellent varied and in more than adequate quantities. At the end of the road is a nice cafe called Jasmin, where there was also a friendly helpful greeting, nice food and drinks which we used for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner one evening. I can’t single out any member of staff for special commendation, all went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and very special.

I came back to Sidi Bou Said because I wanted to stay at Dar Said. It is an enchanting place with a magnificent location overlooking the bay of Tunis and it feels like being in a luxurious private home where every detail is taken care of fondly and adapted to the place. The furnishings are simply perfect. The gardens are delightful and incredibly peaceful. We will come back!
