This place is truly amazing and it exceeded our expectations by far. The calm washes over you as soon as you step in and we found ourselves loosing sense of time just watching the ebb and tide. On one side of the house you have small bay with fishing boats, and on the other side you'll find a small and calm beach. Leila and Faycal, the owners of the house, treated us with such warmth and we really felt we've made friends for life. From the sunrises, to the starry nights, this is a place you definitely shouldn't miss if your planning a trip to Djerba! We highly recommend a stay at Dar Bidha and hope to be back ourselves someday.

Beautiful dar, near the sea in a secluded part od Djerba. Very welcoming hosts. Parking, swimming pool, spacious rooms and the whole place was very clean.

Located a 10-minute walk from Djerba Beach, Hôtel Djerba Erriadh offers a terrace with a seating area, a garden and a Tunisian lounge. Djerba Port is a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

Young man at Reception was excellent in looking after us and spoke good English. Rooms of a fairly basic nature but more than compensated for by the ambience of the internal courtyard. Extremely quiet given the hotel is in the very centre of Houmt Souk. Taxi from airport to Houmt Souk was 25 dinar. Taxi from Houmt Souk to Tourist Zone 15 dinar. In other words very good value for money if coming from euro zone. Dinar can be obtained at the airport. There is a kiosk where they do not charge commission; we changed £ sterling and euros there. Bear in mind ATM's do charge commission at a fairly hefty rate. Breakfast was fine. Meals out very good value and plenty of places to choose from.

First, you have to understand that this is a caravansary and not a modern hotel. With this in mind, the place was amazing! It was like stepping back in time hundreds of years - although they have installed running water and even air-conditioning to the rooms. Sure, many things could be repaired and maintained better (for example the toilet seat was not well fixed to the floor and was a bit wobbly, and the shower drain was clogged), but that just adds to its charm. If you're a history geek or just want to experience something different than the generic modern-style hotel rooms then this is a place for you! They ask a payment in advance with a bank transfer which sounded a bit suspicious but in the end everything went very well. The food in the restaurant is very good but quite expensive at local standards.

The lady and gentlemen who manage this hotel are the sweetest people with the biggest heart. The lady's cooking is out of this world. Real homemade food. Felt like we were in a home away from home. Make sure you have dinner if you're here. I'll come to Djerba again just to stay in this hotel. Highlights - very clean - the sheets and pillow smelt clean and freshly laundered - beds are comfortable - it's beautiful - perfect for all your Instagram and tiktok videos - the owner, the staff and everyone was lovely (even the cat :)! - it's right next to Djerba hood - short drive away from the centre - if you can't speak French, the lady and gentlemen can communicate well with Google translate or other similar apps - THE BREAKFAST!!!!!! - I could go on and on about other good things We only stayed here for one night as it was at the end of our trip and it was the highlight of our trip. Please book at least two or more nights so you don't regret booking only one night like us. I could stay here for one week.

The staff were fantastic, thank you. Resident cat great too! Shower was great, WiFi good, and some of the breakfasts included eggs which was amazing. Aircon also excellent. Very comfortable. Location is great! To be honest, I still kept getting lost finding the door but despite that it is wonderfully central. Recommend!

Hotel Dar Dhiafa is located on Djerba Island in the village of Erriadh and Houmt Souq Harbour is a 10-minute drive away.
