Spotlessly clean hotel. Hotel is situated above terminal 21 shopping mall so very convenient for shopping and very wide selection of restaurants on the food level. Staff at reception and the hotel lobby were attentive and always had a smile and very helpful. Rooms, restaurants, pool and rooftop bar were Spotlessly clean. The kids section of the pool seemed to really be enjoyed by the kids.

Hotel is right on the beach front with nice views of life passing by and the sunset. We wanted to stay in middle of life, therefore the road or people passing by did not bother us. Hotel and room is nicely decorated, very clean with daily service, staff is very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is really awesome with broad variety of meals and coffee is strong. The area by the pool is big plus, and walking distance to the beach is 60 seconds. Hotel is located close to many restaurants and bars, shopping center and clubs. It is also located not far from ferry pier to Islands. We were looking for Pattaya experience with possibilities to go away for daily trips and partying during the night, this is exactly what we got. I have been to Pattaya many times.

I have been to Pattaya many times. The last three times was to obtain major dental treatment. I am impressed with the dentist and the dental services. Otherwise, Pattaya is gradually losing its magic. Local travel on Baht buses, Bolt, and Grab is very good value for money. Cheap clothes and footwear are finished. It's cheaper in K-Mart in Australia. Unless you buy street food, eating out is expensive. Drinks can be expensive in many venues, though not all. I went to bars ang go-go bars only and ate street food. Many local Thais looked unhappy. It's not the land of Smiles anymore. Too many little scams make Thailand irritating for tourists. No wonder people are going elsewhere. The bus services are hard to understand, especially at the North Road Bus Station. You need a proper website to explain the bus services.

Many tourists…manage expectations.

Many tourists…manage expectations. Beachside has everything from bars, massage facilities, restaurants and retail shopping. If you’re a hot tea drinker…sometimes difficult to find. Try the street food. It’s delicious, cheap and safe to eat.

Staying at Sunshine Hotel on Soi 8 is a good location (close to the beach & bars / walking street). The price for the room with breakfast included was the best thing because it allowed me to stay for 29 nights. The options of eating street food or at restaurants close by is also an advantage. I would recommend staying at the hotel to friends & will come back again in the future. The staff are all friendly, in particular Earth.

Fast motorcycles driving on Soi Buakhao.

Fast motorcycles driving on Soi Buakhao. Can be dangerous walking. Cars and motor cycles don't always yield to pedestrians even in crosswalks when traffic lights are present. Baht Buses always yield to pedestrians. Great mode of transportation.

Opinion is divided on pattaya as lots of people see it as just an adult entertainment city and nothing else but there is so much more too it. Due to the vast array of different people who visit pattaya there are hundreds of diverse shops restaurants and services which cater to all cultures and tastes and you can sample them all there is no frowning on of ethnic backgrounds in pattaya you can be from anywhere and you will be welcomed. Another interesting thing about this place is it is very busy yet you can find many tranquil relaxing places to chill amongst the madness. It’s a must visit place and you will find it infinitely interesting if nothing else.

The Beaches especially around Koh Larn' the night life the restaurants food and the people are friendly. be careful of the scams especially around walking street for example the kick boxing scam where they invite you into the ring for photos take your phone for photos then intimidate you for exorbetant tips! avoid the kickboxing on Walking street its a scam

Hotel is nothing wooow but it is good.For me location is perfect becouse it is 25min easy walk to walking street and some shopping malls.wherever you go taxi will cost you from 80-100bath to 180 at most and that is 3-5 euro and if you use motorbike taxi it is cheaper.Overall great city with good food and superb nightlife.

Good location for nightlife. Guest friendly. Picked this as my usual hotel was sold out. Seems to be popular with Indian customers. Security man is good, making sure all guests are properly registered at night.....annoying, but reassuring.
