My goodness as soon as the boat hit the sand on Kho Kradan beach we knew we were in paradise. White sandy beach with crystal clear waters and neighbouring islands on the near horizon The reef resort was purely delightful- a wonderful informative checkin from Genta, a lovely room metres from the beach and a perfectly chilled atmosphere. The snorkelling was amazing- just an 80 metre swim to the reef and so many tropical fish! A 20 min walk to sunset beach on the west coast and an early rise for the sunrise on the beach at the resort- totally incredible Kalume next door does great Italian food but the food and service at the reef resort was amazing. Jack and his staff totally understood severe fish and nut allergies and everything was safe and catered for. Genta was above and beyond; we forgot and lost stuff on our transfer and she found and safely stored them for onward transmission. An absolutely idyllic resort with amazing staff- we wished we had booked longer. Genta and Jack are the stars of the Reef and their staff are so friendly! We miss it and them already

Don't expect luxury but a unique experience, good food and great staff. We book one night but ended up staying 4 nights. The bungalows are in the middle of the island with tropical forest all around. The place seemed more quiet than other places on the island as the cicadas are crazy loud on the island but not so much here. About the island. Snorkeling was very nice at Ao Nieng, Ao Pai and just past the national park buildings. Can be difficult to get in and out of water at low tide at Ao Nieng. At Ao Pai the reef is 200 m out. AIS has excellent 4G coverage on the island, bring a Sim card as there is no wifi. Mosquitoes are active only for an hour around dusk.

Beautiful resort situated in the prime location along Ko Kradan’s main beach. Snorkelling is just off the shore where there is a big reef that goes along the entire beach where you can see huge puffer fish, parrot fish, sting rays and an assortment of other tropical fish. Off the beach snorkelling is great all over the island. The resort is small but beautifully maintained with comfy sun loungers that are right on the beach. Breakfast is great with fresh eggs, fruit etc as well as Thai breakfast options too. The rooms are clean and comfortable with excellent air conditioning. The mosquito nets on the beds were much appreciated as Ko Kradan does have a few mosquitos especially in the evening. Bathrooms were nice and spacious and are located outside with nice big rain showers with great water pressure and good hot water. What really makes this resort is the wonderful staff. Noon organised my transfers to and from the island which ran like clockwork it was so easy. A special mention goes to Way and Naew who really made my stay special and were super friendly and attentive. The resort is situated in the middle of Ko Kradan’s beach and away from the pier which can get busy with day trip visitors so the resort is always nice and peaceful. The resort is also a 10 minute walk from Sunset Beach on the other side of the island and a 20 minute walk from Ao Niang beach which also has excellent snorkelling.

    We visited Koh Kradan for the first time and spent there...

    We visited Koh Kradan for the first time and spent there just 2 nights. Wonderful sea full of fish. Small island. You can rent a kayak. We were charged 500bth (2 adults, 1 kid) at the arrival at the pier as entry to the national park. That may make sense, maybe is better to know about it before. Just about only 7 resorts next each other. Wonderful beach with natural shades from trees. It was worth it to stay there 2 nights rather than to come just for a quick trip by longboat.

    The the beaches are beautiful.

    The the beaches are beautiful. There is no town, only the resorts (including their beach bars and restaurants), so besides enjoying the sea and relaxing, there is not much else to do (which is not necessarily bad if you are there for that).

    What a fantastic tropical island.

    What a fantastic tropical island. Great beaches- Sunset, Paradise Beach and don’t forget the hidden gem of Ao Niang Beach accessible at low tide or via the Paradise Lost Resort. Great Italian restaurant at Kalume. Cheap Thai snacks at the Visitor Centre and fantastic Muslim cuisine at Ao Niang.

    Koh Kradan was given a title of the "best beach of 2023",...

    Koh Kradan was given a title of the "best beach of 2023", and now there are loads of day-tour boats coming in, especially on weekends. This may ruin the atmosphere for people staying overnight. Also, a bad surprise was the amount of garbage on the island. Makes you very sad to see all this plastic scattered everywhere. Another thing to consider - extreme tides. When we were there, the water on the beaches disappeared in the afternoon. When the water was high, the beach was full of longtail boats and day-trippers. So, all in all, I don't recommend to visit this island on high season. Due to the increased number of tourists, it has lost a lot of its charm.

    The Mali Kradan resort was an excellent breakaway from the city…yes…we had lots of mosquitoes and yes…sometimes the restaurant didn’t have everything they had on the menu but the beaches were amazing…the food in the restaurant was fresh and very good…even made fresh pizza in their pizza oven and the service was absolutely amazing…. Wifi was not that good but overall. 1 week was just right and definitely would recommend Mali Kradan

    The main beach is absolutely amazing for snorkeling. The best and diverse coral and fish I’ve seen in Thailand. No need to pay for pricey snorkeling trips. Sunset beach which is on the other side of the island is beautiful too, especially if you get there early in the morning, you will have the whole beach to yourself

    We are experienced travelers to Thailand, but this place and this hotel exceeded all expectations. The hotel is eco-friendly, and plastic is not allowed. The hotel’s owner, Stefano, along with his outstanding staff, made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. At the hotel’s restaurant, we had the best pizza and pasta we’ve ever eaten in Thailand.     All resorts are at the beautiful beach besides paradise lost. At first I thought I made a mistake going for the cheaper option in the lush jungle. But after spending all day at the beach it was refreshing to walk 5 min in jungle terrain before coming home to a green bungalow resort. And the resort is close to the beautiful sunset beach where you can be all alone if you head out after breakfast 🤙 (sunny all day). No aircon - just fan. Worked for us.

    Koh Kradan is a beautiful island with white sandy beaches, turquoise blue water, rainforest and a few small resorts along the east coast. The Seven Seas Resort has every thing you need for a restful stay. Staff is very friendly, the room is clean, the breakfast is delicious, you can rent kayaks or snorkeling equipment. We were there for three nights and would have liked to stay longer.

    Great location right on the beach. Rooms are simple, but there is everything you need. Rooms and the whole resort is very clean, staff very friendly. They will help you with all you need to know while in Koh Kradan. We only stayed one night but if we knew how beatiful the island is and how nice The Reef Resort is, we would have stayed longer.
