It was the most amazing stay. The owner is so lovely and the location is perfect. Secluded, but very accessible at the same time. The food they serve is also lovely. A good mix of Thai food and other kitchens. You can enjoy the sunset every day from your own terras. The bungalows are literally at the beach and have been nicely renovated.

Definitely a perfect place to relax by the pool, recharge batteries and at the same time near to all the restaurants, grocery stores, pubs and beaches. For tips and help with anything you might need, don't hesitate to ask them and they'll solve all your problems and even offer you a delicious iced caramel cappuccino made with love! The staff here are super friendly and always happy to help with anything! They really went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay, teaching me a bit of the local language, booking taxis, and checking in to see if I was doing okay. I honestly felt really well looked after. The place itself is adorable, and the rooms are spotless and cosy. They even top up water and tissues every day, which is such a nice touch.💕

It was a lovely place to spend a few days holiday. The staff were very kind and helpful and the garden, pool and restaurant were all very good. The little beach is also good for sunbathing and you can swim in the sea though the non rocky parts are only waist deep but it's very pleasant to cool off in. There were lots of little places scattered around to sit and read or lie in a hammock and just watch the sea. My room was comfortable and the air-con in was very efficient. Great housekeeping service. Toiletries were provided and daily water was left ready for guests on the table outside the room before waking up, which is a thoughtful and timely gesture. Delicious restaurant menu, including a range breakfast options, at fair prices. Just what I needed to switch off and really relax. Highly recommended.

The friendly staff & the very warm welcome that Michaela gave us : ) After many years of enjoying Haad Yao I finally found the perfect place to stay on this beach ! For some reason the beach was very crowded but Amara was still very relaxed.. if you like to stay on the beach with convertable clean rooms good beds and sweet staff you should go here !
