Warin’s house is located in a small village in Wiang Kaen. It’s a cozy, quiet home built by the village, surrounded by nature, with a stunning view overlooking the Mekong River. We had a lovely night there—wish we could have stayed longer! Warin was incredibly kind and helped us arrange the slow boat to Luang Prabang, which made us feel so warm and welcomed. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel with a nice swimming pool in a beautiful small garden. Definitely the best value for money on this trip. Really quiet, tucked away from the main road. Most people stay one night to cross the border. We stayed two nights to do a quiet day, that is recommended.

Very clean and comfortable stay. The place is full of green, well looked after and has a huge swimming pool (25m). The owner is very friendly and looked after our well being all the time. On request you get a delicious dinner and breakfast. The hotel is a little outside of town but has a quick access to the Mekong boardwalk and from there it is a beautiful walk along the river. A must do!

The place has a beautiful peaceful atmosphere. It is 30 min walk distance to the town. Has a beautiful landscape. The service is personalized and very polite and helpful. The hotel is made with taste. The room is big and comfortable. If we ever come back to Chiang Khong we would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent value for money accommodation. The owner picked us up from the Thai check office and the next day took us to Chiang Khong to take the bus to Chiang Rai, at no extra charge. In the evening we ate excellent Thai food at their restaurant. Also in the morning his wife gave us delicious fruit from their garden as we left. Definitely highly recommended.
