This place exceeded my expectations. The photos that we see in Booking.com don't do justice to this place. The room is very spacious, super clean and comfortable. It has a balcony that we can relax and enjoy the stunning view of the lake. I strongly recommend to stay here and experience this place. I would definitely stay here again.

Super soft comfortable bed and clean quilt cover, spacious room, serving great American breakfast! Boss and staffs there are friendly and helpful. Overall it's a awesome stay! Definitely will back to stay again if I got a chance to visit Ban Rak Thai in the future.

It was our first time staying in a place like this. We were beyond impressed. We were the only 2 guests during our stay so it was very quiet. The staff were not on site the whole night, but they assured that we can call them anything should there be any problem.

The location is excellent, offering a perfect view of the village. The staff is friendly; while their English isn’t perfect, it didn’t hinder our ability to check in or communicate. Additionally, the breakfast is outstanding for the price. :)

Such a beautiful and quiet place with beautiful views. I would definitely recommend booking a Mountain View room (the cheaper options didn’t look as nice). The beds were nice and warm and comfortable! Ban Rak Thai is an easy 10 minute drive from the accommodation and there are some lovely cafes in the area. Thank Hmong for your hospitality.

It is a quaint little village that kinda looks fake because...

It is a quaint little village that kinda looks fake because everything has been built for tourism around the lake. But it is pretty and a nice break from the heat. The road to get there has some very steep switchbacks. Not my favorite but you are rewarded with a picturesque charming town.

It was worth the three hour trip from Pai on the most...

It was worth the three hour trip from Pai on the most winding roads through the hills. Top tip - take a travel sickness pill. A small town that's geared up for a massive influx of visitors who on average only stay one night. Plenty of good restaurants and the 40 minute nightime trip around the lake is the highlight. Lots of good photo/video opportunities.

I booked a 4 pax room which has the best view in my opinion.

I booked a 4 pax room which has the best view in my opinion. I felt the facilities, the room space and cleanliness are beyond my expectation. What I don't like is the steel slope pavement to my accommodation.
