If you’re considering a trip to Thailand, do yourself a favor and stay in the Phayo District! This place is truly a gem, and it made our time there unforgettable. The accommodation has everything you need—simple yet fully equipped, with all the thoughtful touches you hope for. Impeccably clean, comfortable, and with a view that’s even more breathtaking than the pictures suggest. Waking up to that panorama is something we’ll never forget. The hosts here go above and beyond; they’re genuinely warm and incredibly helpful. Breakfast each morning was a delight, with a big spread of delicious food delivered right to our room. And when we needed a last-minute ride to the airport—a solid 2.5-hour trip—they stepped in and made it happen without hesitation. It’s that kind of care and service that really sets this place apart. They have good shower facilities, the road was exceptionally good and beds so comfortable with soft sheets. Beyond the accommodation itself, the surroundings are simply stunning. The natural beauty, peace, and fresh air make it feel like a dream. There are a few local cafes nearby where you can grab a bite and take in different views of the area, and the village locals are just as welcoming and friendly. As someone who travels frequently, I can honestly say this is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with exceptional hospitality, this is the spot!

As others have said the rooms and view are second to none. The place is fantastic. Our only regret was not staying another night, we discovered the national park the next day and could’ve explored it for hours (the waterfall is amazing!!) If i could give extra stars for service I would. The staff are so lovely and accomodating to dietaries (vegetarian and peanut allergy). They pulled together an awesome vegetarian fried rice (honestly the best I’ve ever had) and a great basil pork and rice for dinner. The included breakfast was very good. Meals (pork) are a little spicy so if you struggle with heat let the staff know. Definitely wake up early to watch the sunrise and the fog spread across the mountains, it’s worth it!

The staff is super kind, the dinner and the breakfast were great and gorge. You can eat them in from of the tent and enjoy the view.

We loved the view! Although it could be better during high season. Very relaxing, just what we needed after the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Worth every penny! The staff were very helpful and accommodating of our dietary needs. Breakfast was provided and there was the option to order food, which was a nice touch. They informed us of the opening times for the nearby cafes which was very thoughtful.
