We loved Suri Kachi so much, it’s beautifully designed and you can really tell that the owners have put a lot of thought into how to make your stay perfect even down to the smallest details! It’s still a wooden hut so don’t expect a super luxurious room, but for us it was the perfect mixture of rustic and upmarket. The hot water works well for a bath, the bed was comfortable and the area is quiet so it made for a very peaceful sleep. Their beautiful restaurant is also a very nice place to spend time and there you will find some adorable little cats. Dinner is available although we didn’t have it this time, but they did make us a delicious vegan breakfast and coffee with soy milk, which is so hard to find elsewhere in the mountains! We would love to come back to Suri Kachi again.

I have travelled a lot over the last 4 decades. It gets rarer that a place captures me with its perfect set and setting. This is a tastefully designed space, with more than just a wow factor (the pictures don’t do it justice).

We had an amazing experience at Above the Clouds! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The view was absolutely breathtaking, offering a serene backdrop throughout my stay. The cleanliness was impeccable, and it was clear that attention to detail was a top priority. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional staff.So friendly, professional, and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
