we loved our staying at this hotel the hospitality was really nice all the staff were helpfull. cleaning was done for the rooms everyday they give a complementary sweets also daily which was cute. although you need 15min to walk from the hotel to the near beach, still you can use the taxi or motorcycle to reach there fastlu fast we didn't try the breakfast but we took a look for it and it's looks nice we would come here again if we visit kraby for sure

Baan Thara Guest House is a Krabi hidden gem. The staff are amazing and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They will give you advice about places to go, and help you get cheaper deals on tours, bookings, and all sorts. WIFI is free, breakfast is included and coffee is available 24/7. But what we truly loved about Baan Thara, was how genuinely kind they are. They truly wanted us to have the best time and did whatever they could to make sure of it. We were traveling as a family with a small toddler and the way they treated him was amazing, we couldn't have felt more comfortable. Baan Thara Guest House is also located closer to Nopparat Thara Beach than to Ao Nang. Nopparat Thara includes the Ao Nang night markets, a ton of separate shop fronts, the Muay Thai boxing arena, lots of cannabis if that's what you are looking for, and in our opinion, a better-looking and more enjoyable beach. There are only boats up one end of the beach, and on the other end is a beautiful little cove where people snorkel and you can watch the boats come in and out from the pier. It's also way less crowded and there aren't tourists drinking. All the locals come down for dinner (which was a sign for us) and sit by Nopparat Thara and watch the incredible sunsets and most stay quite late. The beach is only a short walk from Baan Thara which is especially good if you are working with a small budget and don't have transportation (scooter or taxis). We absolutely loved our stay with Baan Thara Guest House and would highly recommend anyone who is planning to stay in the Ao Nang area to also stay here, we will absolutely be booking here again when we travel back to Krabi. Very nice room! Spacious with a nice bathroom and hot shower. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. Was easy to rent a scooter with them and the staff was very helpful and kind. Close to many shops and the boulevard. Definitely worth the money.

We enjoyed our stay with our 2 kids very much. The host and all staff were just lovely and so welcoming. Helped with any advice and transfer to get us where we wanted. Maybe for someone it seems further from the sea, but it is not, just couple of minutes away by transfer, which our host provided to us. Very nice and clean rooms, amazing pool. The area is quiet with lovely views to nature. Very tasty breakfast. If we come again to this area, it will be for sure this property😊 Thank you Boutique Hotel Team!

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The location is close to the Main Street but far enough for the perfect night silence. The room was huge, extremely clean, had a great view and the biggest bed with we’ve ever seen. The staff is really nice and helpful as well and welcomed us with the coconut drink. Wish we could’ve stayed longer, highly recommend!

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the...

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.

    All restaurants and activities were near by or a short ride with a scooter. KoDam restaurant serves great Thai dishes and the same restaurant by the sea has a great view with the same prices as the one in Ao Nang.

    The strip of sand is overlooked by a busy road and shops. Very little shelter from the sun and on-shore winds whip up waves and churn the water to a very unappealing colour. Plenty of bars and places to eat locally - but very few truly "Thai" owned/run. LOTS of Indian restaurants! Ao Nang beach is a beach from which you depart to visit much nicer places!!

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to...

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to access due to my Muay Thai training event. If I return, I will pursue these options. The beach was near countless stores and restaurants. There are plenty of people to meet and things to do. I would revisit if given a second chance.

Foods hunting are heaven, cheap seafood at night market any restaurants. Don't miss jumpa to island executions that you won't regards it

    The actual beach was not great for swimming.

    The actual beach was not great for swimming. At high tide there was very little sand to walk on and the beach was not flat. Water was not very clear, possibly due to grey skies or longboat activity. So Nang has many hotels and resorts either great pools as an alternative. Ao Nang is a great place to visit the Islands, Emerald Lake, hot springs or go kayaking in the mangroves. It is easy to get tuk tuks, taxis and grab cars and bikes all along the beachfront. There was a great selection of Thai, Italian, Indian and Mexican restaurants and lots of bars with extended happy hours. Make sure you have lots of mozzie spray, especially if you go over to Railay beach and walk over to Diamond Cave. We’d recommend paying for a hotel with buffet breakfast if travelling with teenagers as the food is great and tends to set you up an early dinner time. If you have children I’d recommend Ananta Burin hotel as it has several pools, one with a water slide and pool bar so the young ones and adults are easily entertained.

    I had the most delightful stay at this charming hotel in Krabi! Aon and Sek went above and beyond to ensure every moment was memorable, readily assisting with taxis and any other requests. Nestled in a serene atmosphere, it provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, yet only a short 10-minute drive to the lively Ao Nang beach. Impeccably clean and supremely comfortable, this hotel truly exceeded all expectations.

    Sea Seeker is an excellent place to enjoy a vacation in Krabi. The Hotel is in a very quiet area, but you can reach the beach within 5 minutes. The room was very nice, the room service excellent (food service and cleaning service). The pool was probably the best pearl of the building: you can order cocktails and food while you are inside the water. It is simply fantastic!

    It's a new hotel with spacious rooms and the service is great, everyone goes beyond to make you feel at home. Also, there is a free shuttle to the Ao Nang Beach, so we did not have any problem with the location and the Grab is cheap if you like to come back later at night or outside of shuttle hours. I will definitely book again when I'm back in Krabi :)

    Greenery view and quite place to relax.During my stay,the hotel are not many guest staying probably due to the low peak season in Krabi.Im really love the staff in reception counter and our matters quickly resolve by them after sending a whats app mesage to their hotline.They also provide a shuttle if their guest need a transport to Ao Nang beach.
