Poprad was a great location for going up into the mountains or use of the Aqua park. It is not a night time place - restaurants closed fairly early. We stayed in Poprad for just 1 night after a ski break in the Tatry mountains. Our flight was to/from the Poprad Tatry airport. We explored the town which was incredibly quiet (Monday afternoon). The Termy looked like it might have been good, but we had only been to another one the day before. I booked it last minute, as I decided to prolong my stay in the High Tatras. Being less than 20 minutes from Stary Smokovec, it was perfect value stay, avoiding the excessive prices in the mountain villages. The room was clean and quiet with a brand new bathroom.
