We booked a room late after a hard day of driving and oh what a nice place Rami´s Penzion was. The environment was peaceful, just what we needed. The food was good and the price was reasonable, thanks to the chef. Breakfast was more than enough. We could have spent several days here in peace and quiet if our schedules had allowed. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area.

Very nice cottages in the nature, next to a creek. Each cottage has 4 bedrooms, so it is comfortable for 8 persons. The garden was very nice, there is a bathtub, grill and a fireplace. Easy parking and very friendly owner. We had a great time and we can recommend this place.

The owner met us at the entrance and showed us all facilities. The room was pretty big and needed equipment in the kitchen, even the coffee machine is placed. Comfortable and clean beds, warm room. The owner helped with a place for barbeque. Strongly recommend staying if you plan to be in this area.

The hosts of the "Windstille" -- a little "penzion," located in a picturesque rural section of Oscadnica -- offer their guests a whole independent section of a neat, nicely maintained section of their own house, access to their garden, a comfortable parking lot, and free, fast, wifi. Each of us had a separate room with an ensuite bathroom, all clean and spacious, a kitchen and a salon equipped with two sofas, table with chairs, and a plasma TV. The lovely family are welcoming, warm, and helpful, ready to share local knowledge and to accommodate their guests special needs, should such needs arise. For those seeking peace and seclusion, or slow-life away from the bustle of large cities, the place is ideal. Over six days in Oscadnica, we were able to produce almost 1/4th of the monograph on which we were working, enjoying the mountainous landscape around. Within walking distance from the the house there is a little grocery store, and a restaurant, offering its customers wonderful service and excellent cuisine. Several mountain tracks begin in the vicinity of the "Windstille," which might be of interest to naturalists and hikers. A larger Coop supermarket and several ski-lifts are located within a short drive. In short, if your needs are as unassuming as ours, if you do not need jacuzzis, swimming pools, bars, or meals served by the hosts, the "Windstille" will be an ideal place for an extended stay, and a good base for excursions.

There are various hiking trails to choose from, to Veľká Rača, Dedovka - lookout tower, Javorské nature trail, along the cycle path along the stream to the manor house - Kysucká gallery, a nice church, Calvary on the hill with a chapel and a nice view, all well marked with information boards. Good bus transport option, because the village is long.

Beautiful apartment house.

Beautiful apartment house. The gentleman who welcomed us was amazing... he showed us everything, even recommended where to go to relax ☺️👍👏 The entire accommodation has two bedrooms, two toilets, a large common room, a well-equipped kitchen... toys for small children ☺️👍 If we want to relax, we will consider your facility. and we will definitely recommend it.

We had great weather, we traveled from Orava Castle, we stopped to play Laliky minigolf, it was great fun :-). The next day we took the cable car to Dedovka, the bobsleigh is great, there is quite a lot of fun for the kids, you can go to the top of Veľká Rača along the ridge, I think it's not demanding, a little uphill but otherwise fine. Good relaxation

The environment of Oščadnice had a pleasant effect on us, it is a typical mountain village with common amenities. For us, silence is always important, and that's what we had here. Enjoyment here in the summer is mainly hiking, which we were satisfied with.

Unfortunately, we were unable to eat at any of the restaurants on the day of our arrival. Either they were already closed (at 3 p.m.) or there was a wedding going on. Fortunately, there is a Coop supermarket in the village, so we had frozen pizza for dinner. There is a beautiful Calvary in the village, but we didn't have time to visit it because we had other trips planned. But we will definitely visit it on our next visit.

The main attraction is of course skiing in Velká Rača, but you can also visit the Stations of the Cross in the village. In the village itself there is a short ski slope, for the undemanding. Food options in nice restaurants. Affordable resort, plenty of accommodation options. Varied slopes, everyone can find their own. Prices in restaurants on the slope, where everything is transported by snowmobile, comparable to prices for small change in the Czech Republic. A pleasant surprise.

The hotel is on the less popular bank of the river of the town of Oscadnica, situated in a quiet area. The rooms are simply furnished covering the basic needs. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a shower cabin. The breakfast was with a decent selection of cold and warm breakfast items. WiFi was working reliably. Free parking in front of the hotel. Competitive price.

Lovely place in the heart of Kysuce, easily accessible. Very clean room with the most comfortable bed I slept in a hotel. The surrounding area is tranquil, one can hear the birds chirping in the morning and the stream running behind the property.
