Brezno is centrally located and the surrounding countryside is easily accessed. The town centre is very pleasant whilst on the outskirts there is a superb car museum. We arrived to the hotel and the next day we wanted to go hiking, but my car's battery dead. The hotel staff helped for us. He took me with the hotel's car to the nearby town (Brezno), where I could buy a new battery. He took me back to the hotel and helped to replace the battery and the car was repaired. Attention to many details, very well thought and designed to be comfortable and better than expected on so many things. Even coffee grains prepared for the automatic machine, and tablets for the dishwasher. In front of the police station so you can feel safe in that street. Plenty of space in hidden wooden cupboards. Good breakfast and coffee shop. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch but not evening meals.
