Hotel is simply great. Perfect location, friendly staff, extremely well equipped and comfortable rooms with highest level of hygiene. I was with a group of business partners from Italy and they were all really excited about the hotel, and especially when our Olympic champ Toni was welcoming us next morning at the front desk. Breakfast is simply fabulous so overall great value for the money. We were also given perfect advise for a dinner near by so all I can say is: Highly recommended!

The design of the room is great - for your money you get not only the place to sleep but you do enjoy the design elements and solutions applied experiencing a true esthetic joy. Lovely little coastal town with plenty of history and and well mapped walking trail. to wonder around, although parking is not free anywhere near the centre , which we hate, hate paying for parking and worrying about the time we need, time we have etc! Spoils your holiday but it's mostly the same all over Slovenia , I feel sorry for businesses as you have to take into account the extra if you just want to stop for a coffee and so decide not to!

A lovely small town at the sea where everything is reachable by foot so you can enjoy endless walks. Extremely beautiful sunsets at the marina area, lovely Venetian architecture, tasty cuisine. Very underestimated because of Piran's popularity but very cozy and comfortable for a leisure vacation. Lovely green beach Slovene Riviera and nearby Zusterna. I would recommend Koper to everyone as a base for their Slovenian seaside sightseeing as Izola and Piran are just 20-40 minutes drive away.

As a small historic town on what was an island once despite having a massive deep water port it is a very pleasant place but you can see it in a day unless you are staying for something more specific as a base (for the excellent wineries and countryside in my case).

Koper is a lovely town by the sea.

Koper is a lovely town by the sea. Although Koper has a huge port, tourists offer is also rich. Beautiful old town with famous buildings, University center, everything that you could possible need in many shops, restaurants, shopping malls. Kind people and beautiful, very well taken care of, nature, and close to other Slovenian nature parks. Road network is excellent and you can easily get anywhere you want.

As for the town of Koper, the old town is charming, you can see lots of investments in the town - there is a range of new sports facilities, modern but nicely matched with the old architecture. A nice place for a city break.

I liked the old town of Koper- interesting and some nice...

I liked the old town of Koper- interesting and some nice little places to eat. I wouldn't swim there though- very industrial and the sea appears quite polluted. If you are interested in snorkelling or swimming I would head down the coast further to the islands off Croatia. For more history, the bays in Italy like San Rocco outside of Trieste. I didn't like Piran at all- a pretty town but just a tourist disneyland

It was a pleasure to be staying at Grand Koper and I will certainly higly recommend the place to anyone willing to visit Koper. Outstanding view and immaculate conditions plus utterly kind personel only added to the comfort of my stay. King size bed super comfortable. Absolutely delicious breakfast with fruits and vegan options <3 and great food at the hotel restaurant downstairs. I will come back for sure.

The hotel is in a rather industrial area on a dead end road with bike lane running right in front of the hotel wich can be helpful when reaching a center of Koper. The hotel itself is very nice and well maintained. The breakfast was just incredible! Probably the best we had in whole Slovenia so far...
