Newly adapted apartment in an independent smart house (solar panels, rain water collection, heat pump). Must visit for all eco-freaks. Hosts are extremely friendly and flexible. Drinking water provided on site. Clean and comfy. Fully equipped kitchenette (cooking top, kettle, air fryer), kitchen utensils. Terrace with stunning views. Beautiful furnishing and deco (stone and wood). Mezzanine room is classy. There is not a single thing we found inconvenient. The charm of the estate is in its isolation, so if you are not prepared for a 30 min drive to the first restaurant, rather avoid this property, or plan better. Above all, there is a small Okrepčevalnica ("refreshment bar") in Vrtače itself. For activity freaks there are numerous hiking and cycling trails around and water sports opportunities on Soča river, as well as wine tasting possibilities in Primorska region. If you are looking for tranquil getaway, this is the place. Forests, meadows, villages and views in the vicinity of this property are simply stunning.
