FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

Visiting SG in 2025 is not worth choice when other asian destinations like Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Thailand, Veitnam have developed in tourism with less expesive n better facility in travel n accomdation compaired to SG. SG is a one time visit destination to cover the the entusiasm they promote their tourism in medias. Lot of location like Little India, Buggy street, etc they close by 10.00pm or before as per the store owners will, many stores are not curstomer friendly as if they arrongantely speak out dont waste their time if you are not buying anything. Taxi people are also not friendly to talk as if we casually ask them to recommend local visit places & they will respond not ineterested to talk apart from the taxi trip destination n most may be on hand free calls while driving as if they treat us like using discount card for those taxis. Even one taxi told every working class singaporeans are living on stress, dont speak to them as if we are in vacation mood. Most singaporeans look us like immigrants trying to grab PR n citizen somehow as the most indian n chinese people has gone thorough the way to become now the prejudice Singaporeans.

Singapore is an amazing destination for both solo travelers...

Singapore is an amazing destination for both solo travelers and families. I spent six days exploring the city and absolutely loved it! Two of those days were spent on Sentosa Island, where I enjoyed swimming, visiting the southernmost point of Asia, and having so much fun at Skyline Luge & Skyride Singapore. Getting around is super easy — the MRT system and monorail make transportation fast, comfortable, and affordable (and you don’t pay for the return ride from Sentosa!). Don’t miss Universal Studios and the SEA Aquarium, and in the city center, go to Marina Bay — enjoy dinner at a rooftop restaurant, take a walk, and watch the light and water shows by the bay. See the Merlion statue and the Gardens by the Bay light show (every day at 7:45 PM and 8:45 PM — truly magical). I highly recommend visiting the Botanic Gardens, Orchard Road, and the city’s many temples. Try the local food — it’s delicious and diverse! At the airport, don’t miss Jewel Changi, especially in the evening when the light show starts. Other great spots include Haw Par Villa, Chinatown, Little India, Masjid Sultan, Kampong Glam, and Clarke Quay. Everything is clean, organized, and easy to reach — Singapore truly exceeded my expectations!

Singapore although it is a small country - it is clean, many places to eat, not too expensive - affordable for many people - which is great. Orchard Road - middle of town, great shops not too expensive. GREAT Dentist if anyone is interested comparison to London. Easy to get around with taxis not too expensive.

Singapore is easy to negotiate.

Singapore is easy to negotiate. Service at restaurants are friendly and quick. We stayed in Victoria street and there were many restaurants nearby. It is a relatively short walk to the promenade area. From the airport, we paid SPD 60 for a 'limousine" to the hotel. At the hotel, they booked a normal taxi for us for SPD 16! The driver gave us a very good verbal tour of Singapore. I would suggest at the airport, look for a normal taxi, don't take the limousine or larger car offered there.

It was all good. Clean and sanitised.

It was all good. Clean and sanitised. A very safe environment. The Design Museum was excellent but the best thing of all was the Botanic Gardens. Extraordinary . Beautiful, peaceful, well maintained, cafes were good. The Orchid Garden was just outstanding. I've never seen anything like it. Easy to get to by the excellent transit system. Its a real gem and I think totally under the radar

QT Singapore is the perfect spot for a stay. It has the charm of a boutique hotel, the quality of a private members' club but the excellence of a 5 star hotel. The rooms are so well thought out from the interior to all the items stocked within the room. A cocktail shaker is on another level of personalisation. I've stayed in so many hotels in Singapore and only the best impress me i.e. Raffles, Capella, Swiss etc and this is definitely the new hotel to add that that list.

The hotel feels brand new, good water pressure and showers and rooms that feel well thought out. Rooms sizes like all hotels in singapore were on the medium/smaller side, bed and sheets felt fresh and very comfortable Reception staff were very helpful and welcoming and efficient- Jai Yin in particular

Clean and comfortable. Like all reasonably priced hotels in Singapore, it’s quite tiny but Lily was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for her. What a great ambassador she is for the hotel.

The location is fantastic, next to Downtown Line and near Circle Line. Staff are friendly. A bit dated but I wouldn't mind as the room is bigger than most hotels in Singapore.
