A Natural Beauty

Modern Stockholm is uniquely made up of 30% waterways and another 30% of parks and green spaces. It’s spread across 14 islands and is both one of the world’s cleanest and most charming capitals.

Stockholm’s famously huge number of museums includes the Naturhistoriska riksmuseet, the Moderna Museet and the Spritmuseum. City Hall hosts the famous Nobel Prize banquet and the Vasamuseet hosts the 300 year old Vasa warship.

The city’s past can be felt in Gamla Stan – Stockholm’s stunning Old Town with medieval layout, cobblestone streets and the Baroque-style Royal Palace. Designer Swedish clothes and interior decorations abound in the many unique stores throughout the city.

Great city to visit in autumn, perfect for atmospheric walks...

Great city to visit in autumn, perfect for atmospheric walks and spending time in the Old Town or close to nature. If you’re traveling with kids in the off-season, check whether Gröna Lund is open. They open for special events like Halloween, and our children loved it.

Loved visiting Stockholm!

Loved visiting Stockholm! a very cosy place with cute old streets with shops, and lovely scenery along the water. The low sun in the winter provides a beautiful light so even if the weather is chilly which it was, it's a pleasure to be outside. Loved the fika places for afternoon hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls. Great little restaurants. Super Abba museum well worth the visit. Went to see a NHL hockey training for a match in the evening in Avicii stadium. Lots of fun activities!

⭐️ My impressions of Stockholm The city truly impressed me!

⭐️ My impressions of Stockholm The city truly impressed me! Its architecture, museums, exhibitions, abundance of concerts, restaurants, and cozy cafés — everything was amazing. Stockholm has a unique atmosphere — clean, calm, inspiring, and full of culture and style in every detail. We’ll definitely come back again ❤️ The only thing is that it’s a bit pricey if you eat out three times a day for two people — but it’s absolutely worth it 😉

We have been to Stockholm previously (our son lives there)...

We have been to Stockholm previously (our son lives there) so we visit sometimes - I wouldn't say we are regulars. But we probably chose the wrong weekend to go as travel was chaotic! Firstly, they are rebuilding the bus station so they have created a temporary bus station quite a distance from the normal one. And the normal station is usually only a short walk from Slussen station but the temp station is quite a trek!! When you need to transit with baggage, its hard work! And I always find Stockholm Central Station to be almost the most confusing station in Europe!! Secondly, we were travelling north to Gavle and on that particular day they had decided to close a lot of the rail network north of Stockholm for maintenance work. Consequently that made our travel on that day a complete nightmare!! Slow commuter trains and bus replacement services - it took us nearly 6 hours to a 1.5 hour trip!

Very picturesque place.

Very picturesque place. Found the locals to be very friendly and helpful people. As with other city breaks a bit more expensive for eating and drinking. Definitely purchase an SL travel card as can use on all transport and even the ferries. Well worth the purchase to get around and see as much of the city as possible.

Hotel is in the best location of Stockholm. Breakfast was good, cold selection from the buffet, eggs , pancakes you order via the waiter. Room we had was on the 5th floor, overlooking cute inner yard, was clean, comfortable, with all needed amenities My special thanks is to Victoria at the Front Desk, she helped us a lot with birthday arrangements, room change, other inquiries. She is one of the most professional people I have seen in hospitality field. She made our stay so much better.

Location of the hotel is excellent, right in the middle of everything or with easy access to everything, as metro station is right outside the front door. Breakfast is possibly the best we ever had, combining perfect quality and unbelievably numerous choices! Also, there is a nice lounge where you can have a beer or a cup of tea after returning from a long day wandering in beautiful- cold Stockholm. Stuff very helpful, rooms spotless and clean!

the BEST hostel I've been in after lots of years travelling. Perfect location, so clean, looks like a 4 star hotel! Salma is a beauty! so cute,so kind, always with a smile, ready to help anytime. Also a girl from Spain (sorry for not knowing her name) so helpful. Stockholm is an expensive city, but this place is worth every krone. Highly recommend five stars cheers from Mexico City Alberto V
