Outstanding swedish smorgasboard brekkie. Dinner was also great. We loved the sunsets on the balcony and the staff was absolutely fantastic - every wish fulfilled. The private sauna was an absolute unexpected bonus. We will be back!

Very cozy and we got great value for the money. The location was really good, very close to the train/bus station. The personnel was really nice and helpful. It was great having fika and dinner also included, and the food was really good. The room was very spatious and cozy and the bathroom was very new. Overall super happy!

The apartment is just PERFECT. It is VERY spacious, lots of amenities (more than anywhere else we stayed in Sweden), a bathtub and fully equipped kitchen. It is close to several hiking options and well connected. The host is very nice and accommodated our arrival time to an earlier time because it was raining

Historic building. Nice older but good room with double doors, water cooker, new private bathroom. For me the bed was comfortable. Good continental buffet breakfast. Very friendly and helpful host who gave me information about the Astrid Lindgren movie "Madicken/Madita" which was partly made there. Possiblity to have a great daily lunch in the restaurant which I tested another stay before and which gave a feeling of this movie.

Exceptionally friendly staff. Great location for transit travellers by the highway and free parking is a bonus. Delicious breakfast, better than at home. The room was tidy and comfortable. Great extra area for chilling out with coffee and cookies.

The location seems to be in condition, although the weather was wet at the time of the visit. the hotel's main building is beautiful, the breakfast is good. Unfortunately, an error occurred during our visit that popped up handy! We thought we would stay in a hotel, but we got a room in a so-called campsite! The pictures looked better than the reality

Very comfortable accommodation close to the xc skiing tracks....it is 1 km away from the bruk hotel but is almost half of the price and the rooms are even a bit nicer. It is also not as busy and crowded like the bruk hotel. We stayed in both hotels for one night each because of xc skiing and I would now choose Hotell Skommarsgården every time over the bruk hotel. The only thing missing is a sauna but you can also use the one at the bruk hotel for 40 SEK. Breakfast was not as broad but the essentials were there together with a nice coffee.

We stayed in a room in one of the houses next to the main building. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to the main building for breakfast, which was fantastic - delicious and many different options. There are lots of things to do around the hotel, like a hike to one of the islands or a swim in the lake. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent too. The staff was overall very friendly.

Clean and comfortable hotel. I liked that it's in the nature, nice view from the room, nice breakfast and lunch room. Nice that there is free coffee and sweets in the lobby and that there is a pool. Very nice walk starting from the hotel and 10 min walk to a big beach for the summer.

Great location for me as my work was only 5km's away. Parking next to the hotel, reasonable price also. Staff extremely friendly. The breakfast and the dinner was good, overall a great value for money place to stay.
