Our stay was wonderful. The staff was very attentive and available from the moment of booking until our departure. Optimal location, truly feels like a home away from home. The breakfast was delicious and filled with local products. The first day we spent there we had breakfast at the hotel, while the second day it was the first time they were serving breakfast in a partnering Café basically next door to the hotel. Both breakfasts were great and we even received a complimentary little gift bag filled with local products in occasion of the first breakfast at the Café. Everything was perfect! We'll definitely return if passing through Östersund again.

Frösön Park is the former Officers' Mess at the former Frösön Air Base. It has two fighter planes guarding the hotel as a reminder of its past. The hotel is newly renovated with spa, pool, and a good restaurant. All hotel guests have free access to the restaurant. Availability of the staff! And what ever question I had considering my staying, staff were always answering the phone even on Christmas Day and New Year and at other hotels from my experience whenever I call on the phone there is an automatic machine answering.
