The cottage is a simple very modern and comfortable place. Lovely views of forest and snow covered grass garden. It is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The furniture is simple and comfortable. The owners live next door and spoke fluent english and were charming and helpful. Nearby there is a beautiful lake and some really nice old villages and hiking trails. We drove the 3 hours to the Norwegian border through some wonderful snow covered landscape and visited the skiing areas to soak up the winter atmosphere. I recommend this cottage if you want to enjoy the local hikes, lake and villages and also the nice small town of Mora.

If you need to hear nature this is your location, no one is gonna disturb you, but you have people near there if you need something. The only thing you’re gonna hear is the animals and wind in the trees sounds. And the very best of all is the treatment you’re gonna receive from Lena, I’ve never had an experience like this with an owner never in my life, Lena told me the best sites to visit and go and searched some activities I wanted to do. A very nice town on a lake.

A very nice town on a lake. The Zorn Museum and house are well worth a visit. I would have loved to see his textile room, but it's closed after mid-August. There are a few nice shops and restaurants, and you can enjoy a lovely walk along the lake. A great starting point for the Inland Railway.

Beautiful city but the lake Siljan that you see when you walk towards the city. Fantastic view! Cute center with the main shops and a lovely local cafe. Good piers where you can swim in the Siljan in several places.

I was only there for a short day, to stay overnight between two train journeys, but I liked the place. I found the area around the church and the Zorn Museum particularly worth seeing. The pedestrian zone is also attractive.

The "Ice Cream Boat" where delicious Rättvik ice cream is served and the nearby beach with playground is worth a visit! Cozy city center. Åmåsängsgården's campsite is fresh, has a nice beach and good service. Good breakfast buffet.

Love the proximity to nature and the rich culture. In addition to a long walk on Sollerön, we visited the Zornmuseet and Zorngården. We visited the museum before the farm, which enriched our visit to the farm. Tip is to do it in that order.

Loved the renovation of an old barn to a self -contained apartment. Great facilities with the kitchen, fridge and washing machine. We also loved the linens. The number of beds was perfect and it was a great base from which to explore Mora and celebrate midsommar in Dalarna.

Very charming hotel, which gives you a very cosy feeling. Room, staff and breakfast are wonderful. The have as well a really nice spa with sauna and a swimming pool. Very recommendable!
